One of the best videos I've watched in a long long time! Thank you, Jarrod, and Huntin Fool, for bringing us along on this amazing and heart felt adventure! I know that it couldn't have been easy, but rest assured that your father was watching and smiling as you hunted hard, showed emotion, and certainly made him proud. Every hunt has memories and meaning in my book, but this one had a little extra that I hope you can cherish after it all. Congratulations on a great bull and a great story!

My Pops passed last year, the morning of his ash spreading I got up to hike in 8 miles to our favorite fishing hole in North Idaho. Perfectly timed, my mepps splashed in when the sun hit the water. Boom. Largest salmon I’ve ever hooked (on 6lb test too). Played him for 30 minutes, landed, unhooked… looked up with bright smile and said “Hey dad, good to see you too”. Something I’ll never forget. Great video.

Jerrod- I am absolutely blown away of the similarities in our two lives. I lost my 28-year-old son to schizophrenia just a little over one year ago. We do not understand God‘s plan, but I do know that my son who loved the outdoors and loved hunting adventures with me, I was able to celebrate his life like you did with your father on a hunt last November 4 in the state of Idaho. I was able to fill my tag on a hunt with my youngest son and when we went down to recover my Elk that was killed at 675 yards with one shot with a 28 Nosler Only to walk up to this enormous six point bull And to find within 15 yards of this enormous animal in the beautiful forest Was a mylar balloon with a smiley face on that balloon. It took me to my knees Jerrod and words cannot explain the feelings that I had inside as I felt that special closeness to my son once again. How could something like that ever take place if it wasn’t coming from our Lord and Savior above I felt the closeness during that hunt as I completed and packed at Elk out of my son with his hand on my shoulder. I’m sorry to share this incredible story with you, but I was just starstruck to watch your video. Good luck to you and all your endeavors and keep on grinding buddy. Regards, David.
