Eylul is a rebellious young girl who has changed schools many times and teachers do not want to deal with her. Two lovers - yes, no mater how much they deny, Ali Asaf and Eylul fell in love. He leaves and years later they meet again as a two doctors. This is the story of the challenge of life as a surgeon of a girl who has begun to succumb to life, nothing but anger. A man who will give her the courage at the same time. I hope everyone knows that this is an adaptation of the Korean Drama “Doctors/Doctor Crush” written by Ha Myoong Hee as stated also at the start of this dizi. I’m a korean drama fan since I was 12 and just recently liked some Turkish drama like Erkenci Kus and Kiralik Ask. I watched this dizi because Doctor Crush is one of my favorite korean drama but I must say that Heartbeat is so much better. The story is more detailed and each character is well explained. There is no rush also with the lovestory between Eylul and Ali. Ali’s charaters is more lovable too here and I just hope Eylul’s facial expression changes more becuase sometimes I still see a stiff Eylul even though she’s smiling 🤣🤣🤣 Aside form hospital scenario, some changes I noticed is that from the korean drama, ghere ware characters like a female doctor who likes Ali 13 years ago, also Ozgur in the korean drama has a general surgeon uncle. These two characters are missing here and i like that because i dont see importance of these two characters. Bahar and his father are both general surgeon. In korean drama, you wouldnt know if her father is still performing operation or office works, while Bahar’s role is also as a Neurosurgeon and did not even gave time to see her potential as a doctor but was always seen as a jealous doctor to Eylul. Also, in the Korean drama Selim’s role is purely a friend of Ali and head of the Neuro Surgery Dept. He was not asked by Ali to help Eylul. Mehmet’s charater is extended also here. The story why he went missing over the years was explained. Also, here Mehmet gave money to Eylul for his grandma’s surgery, but in korean drama her granda has savings and even gave the remaining savings to Eylul after she died (written in her letter assuming she will die). But in general, i really like Heartbeat more.. very detailed.

Yeah how this later becomes Eylul's fault is ridiculous. She was a victim. From her car being stolen which is how the shooter even knew her name and where to find her, to him being able to literally just barge into her office and trap her while she was alone and unprotected, to the police not finding him before he managed to hurt her and so many others. There was nothing she could do for him alone in her office like that. He would've need an examination, tests and imaging, all things he wouldn't let her do because he wouldn't even let her take him out of the room. If anyone besides the shooter is at fault, it's the police. They spent the whole day looking for one man and couldn't find him. He was obviously on the roof, why that wasn't the first place they looked for either their suspect or evidence is beyond me. And Bahar's continued obsession with Ali is what got her shot. She ran out there without cover because of Ali. She wanted him to see her being brave and strong so he'd be proud of her because she wanted to impress him so he'd praise her. If she stop caring what he thought and did things because they were in her heart and not part of an agenda, she would've been better off.
