Eylul is a rebellious young girl who has changed schools many times and teachers do not want to deal with her. For all those trashing Ali for not having told Eylul he was married before I'm here to tell you as someone who is divorced themselves we don't want to talk about it with other people. We don't want other people to know about it! A divorce is something extremely painful and disappointing to go through we want no matter what to forget it every happened. We will of course at some point talk about this with someone that we love but it most definitely isn't the first thing we run telling everyone. I actually love how casually Ali tells Eylul she is his ex-wife it shows he doesn't care for the ex-wife she does not in anyway effect him now that she is back after all these years THIS is the response Eylul should have wanted from him.

I think they cast the couples together really well in this series. Ali and Eylul really fit as he understands her and has great patience with her. None of the other males would have that kind of strength and they would of given up. Ali knows her well and he is quietly strong dealing with her issues. Great decision to put her with Ali.

I actually love how insecure we viewers get on behalf of the female lead in Turkish shows! Just tells us how realistically they're portraying the emotions. It happens to me also, I remember I was watching Dolunay and I actually cried when the male lead ignored his wife for his ex-gf. The feelings are irrational because it's always clear that the male lead only loves the female lead anyway, but jealousy is a good spice. Here the timelines are interesting - Ali was married, had a child and a huge personal tragedy just a few years before Marmaris, but he was neither thinking about it nor waiting for his ex-wife. While in Marmaris he happily fell in love with his student (with absolutely nothing actually happening between them), and this time he waited for her for 11 years! Sounds quite implausible, but if we buy into it, it does say a lot about how much deeper his feelings for Eylul were compared to what he felt for Nazli.

Having another wife makes no sense. Wow hated that they did that. It's obvious that this plot came out of nowhere. Wish writers did not do this. He is not even over their dead baby.😔 When pain from the past has not yet vanished,Don't you think it's better to NOT fall in love again?🙄Because you see how it's affecting Elyul's feeling now,it's not good to give your loved ones a hard time emotionally🥺. But Ali was with Nazli many years back, before knowing Eylul. He loves Eylul only from 11 years. There's no chance of his having those feelings for Nazli again, so Eylul has no reason to be insecure. His not telling her about it can be questioned though. Also the pain of losing a baby is something one probably never completely gets over. On the whole this does look like an unnecessary plot twist, and it contradicts many things shown earlier (like in episode 2 Ali kept denying and laughing it off when he was asked whether he was married or divorced, why would he do that if he was actually a divorcee?)

@Janet Illaga He was married as young Dr like 16 yrs before meeting Eyul. Ali and his wife lost a child and seems it cause their marriage to disolve and he choose to stop being a Dr and teach so that how he ends at Eyul school so he never lied to her I love their love story

So far it was going good but from here the writer messed it up with the story by bringing his ex wife and the whole history making him more older I felt like Eylül is just a kid for him now......I've watched the series and I've to tell you guys from 20th episode the story won't stick around with the whole Eylul's revenge which was the heart of this series I mean if they would have continued with it then this series could have its own stage!! I mean...it was going good until now😡😡😡😑😑😑😕😕😕😕😤😤
