Cool project and video! I looked at one of these at auction with 40k miles and salvage title. It had minor body damage and ran, the final bid was $20k, I couldn’t believe how expensive they can be crashed. Sounds like you guys got a great deal on yours. Now I’m looking at used ones. Found a clean 2019 with 14k for $44k, that seems like a decent price. Good luck with your projects, will keep an eye on your channel.

Mine was the fuel control module, no warning it was failing, just didn’t start one day, fuel pumps can fail too, hope you get it sorted, look forward to the QV build

Disable the auto start stop system that’s what’s causing all these electrical issues it was the first thing I did on my Giulia

Love you guys! I just bought a 23 Stelvio a couple months back and bought a couple products from you guys. I had an issue before my first payment was due that was similar to your issue, but doubt it is the same. One day I went out to start my car and nothing, all the lights came on but nothing to engine. A whole bunch of error codes flashed. Had to tow it to an Alfa dealership and what happened was a rodent ate some wires that were under the transmission. About a $1000 repair, but thankful it wasnt a manufacture issue. insurance covered it at least after my deductible.

Oooo that’s something I didn’t consider, and this car was sitting for a bit, that’s why I’m leaning towards wiring. Will definitely be interesting to track down lol

@ModdedMotors after digging around trying to figure out what it could have beeen, I was reading that most new cars have a soy based plastic that covers the wiring (instead of petroleum based) and rodents love it. Toyota is actually in a class action lawsuit over it or was

Had same thing immediately after oil change and oil reset using multiecuscan. No relations to either as I think it has a short at the negative battery connection. Why that one little yellow clip is spliced I’ve no idea, but it appears to need reconnected. Tomorrow!

I had the same issue! did my oil change, installed a sgw bypass, used my multiecuscan to reset oil change needed light. The next day my remote start didn’t want to work, when I got into my vehicle I turned it on and it had a dead battery. Jump started the car and it worked fine for a day. The next day same thing went to start with remote start and it killed my battery. Replaced my battery, and it’s been good for a day, I did get a “auto start/stop” error message but it went away…. I’m praying it was the battery.

Been looking for an OEM QV style spoiler for my 2020 TI Sport 😁🙏 How much are you trying to sell it for brother? I know the OEM one has the bolts and would require drilling, but for the right price I don't mind chopping them off and putting on 3M.

Before you do anything with the QV, figure out what can be done with the roof. That is a major issue. What the scanner tells you about the QV not starting?

Completely forgot to mention that, I knew I was missing something lol replacements aren’t hard on these. Our body shop that helped on many build will be doing the job. Will also pass all NHTSA standards

So quick question , there is no other way of fixing the starting problem on the 2.0 other than swapping the power trip from the QV? because mine stutters when turning on don’t know if it’s the alternator or what but it clacks when trying to start

I’m not sure I understand the question, the relay is typically a problem on the 2.0.

So currently the code won’t even power over to pull codes, almost like it’s a battery issue. I have a new battery, so not sure if I have a short somewhere

You should get a new battery for the car, for me, there’s a Canadian tire shop . I went there and my 2.0L works perfectly.

Btw…. That loose connection at the yellow spliced clip kills 100% of juice. No lights, exterior or interior, no starter, nothing!!

This is so funny...my Alfa Romeo would not stop!! QV. Stuck at John Wayne Airport for about 5 hours. After cussing the hell out of Alfa... turns out it was my aftermarket Carplay unit. Alfa...my apologies.. NOT YOUR FAULT!! This still remains one of the most dependable cats I've ever owned. And I've owned a Toyota Corolla and an Acura TL. Only aftermarket parts can kill this thing.

Start stop should be bypassed/disabled the first week u get one all relays should be changed once a year along with a new battery...its not a camry you got to spend money on them.......Alfa Romeo Romeo Giulia technician Delaware

I have a 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia an so far I love my car pretty proud of it, I used to have a 2010 TSX Acura that was my baby, I still love it but I would rather buy another giulia or Q4 anything other than that would be a downgrade for me an I got a good deal on mine

This is a money pit. do not rebuild it. buy a used qv after u get your money back . the aluminium chassis is garbo after a front impact the entire car goes through like a wave to the chassis. why do you think its so cheap? the damage on the exterior and new body is one of them but the main reason these are sold cheap af is because the frame and vehicle is no longer a 50/50 perfectly distributed weight and other various things...
