All the way up until the game from the time that SCSU had won the MEAC folks proclaimed that they were head and shoulders above the rest of the HBCU teams including Jackson State University. Chennis Berry was constantly lauded as the best coach in the game. When it came to ranking the teams, SCSU was always number 1, JSU number 2. Las Vegas had SCSU winning the CB by 3. Then reality happened. The clock struck midnight. "War and Peace" turned into the great reckoning and the MAILMAN failed to show up to work. Tigers showed up though, and they SHOWED OUT!!!
