As doctors they should realize the sister needs psychiatric help, not marriage. That doc she's marrying will live in hell, as the sister will go nuts every time he stays out late or talk to another woman etc. And what about the BIL who is raking leafs, that's another convoluted idea by the writers. It's not like he can't stay home while the investigation is going on, help with the kids and around his home, get closer to his wife etc. The writers are putting in these unrealistic ideas in the drama, as they have to get a certain amt of episodes. The bch came to destroy the FL's husband and ended up destroying several other people. There's no retribution or punishment as she's careful with her schemes. It will end in forgiveness and she will leave and everyone will go back to their everyday lives. In 90% of these dramas, bches never get retribution, no matter what they do. Writers love bchs.
