My Hearth arrived this week!! Loving it so far. 100% agree about rotating pictures! That should be an upcoming update. How do I sync my work calendar so I see it but they don’t have to? Is Hearth customer service helpful?

Fantastic! You sync your work calendar like any other and then toggle them on or off by clicking on the little triangle-thing on the top right of the display.

Why did you choose this over the skylight max?

I'm about to post the Skylight Max Review shortly, but the main thing is that the Hearth Display is just a bit more refined. They did the hard work of changing small things, like the default Android Keyboard, to make it really feel like it's refined. The Hearth Display is also designed more for kids, which is super helpful for us.

Can you share how the reminders work on calendar events? What are the options - do the reminders just display on the Hearth or can it email/text/show up on the your phone via the app? And - are reminders only available for calendar events or are they availability for to-do's as well?

I couldn’t find a way for reminder to show up on the calendar itself.

@@WeTriedIt Thanks for the time to respond! Yes - kind of like 5 minutes before or 24 hours before or whatever - but mainly I was hoping the notifications would show up on the user's phone if they had the companion app installed - less important o me that they show on the display itself.

One idea is to move the graphics to the side (or cover yourself so it doesn’t cover the main thing you’re reviewing. Regardless great content!

Little hint for your channel - we don’t want to see you or banana animations, we really want to see the calendar. You’re over editing your videos! Try to keep It simple and focus on the content. Instead of showing us the day, week and month screens you actually covered the WHOLE screens with animations!!!! 🤦‍♂️
