Try fitting Thistle Tea into a deck like this. Your opponent will think you're dead, out of cards, and then you play Giant -> Gang Up (x2) -> Thistle Tea -> Giant, Giant, Giant all one the same turn.. and suddenly you're no longer out of cards and they have 9 giants to deal with in the next few turns.

I've been trying variants of arcane giant rogue! My deck is similar to this but has more early game minions. I only have one arcane giant tho and instead, put in questing adventurer. In addition, I noticed whilst playing a similar deck to this, early game is really weak. Against zoolock and aggro shaman, I got rekt.

Ha, funny. I run mindslaver combo in my tron deck. Theyre worth less now because you can only feasibly run the combo in modern, and its way to slow there. Unless you build a deck that slows down the game to a hold and you can draw the combo eventually.

See the thing about thalnos is this. He is probably the best two drop for burn heavy spell decks, but no you don't "need" him it's just best to have him. Loot Hoarder or Kobold Geomancer are the two obvious choices. I personally would go Geomancer but give both a go. The deck shouldn't lose that much efficiency.
