The implication is still the issue. Priest right now is about as useless as Shaman used to be. But we know the way Blizzard works. If something is OP and broken as fuck, they'll nerf it into the ground. If something is useless, then they'll either make it OP next update, or nerf everything else.

I'm almost certain it was a visual glitch. I've had this happen to be several times; a card appares to have tuant but actaully doesn't. I even allowed my oppnent the chance to win the game by hitting my face to confirm this. I added him after the game and according to him it didn't appare to have tuant on his end, meaning the glitch is likely client side.

I've noticed Kripp seems to really like situational combos in his decks, things that rarely happen but leave open the option for shenanigans once every so often. Plus Malygos has that intimidation factor that few other dragons can really match (A druid or shaman playing Onyxia comes to mind as similarly terrifying), which can incite some bad plays from an opponent frantically trying to remove it. That said you're probably right, Ysera does seem like the generally stronger option as is often the case.

Still...is not a solution to the class...i mean right now even Control Priest is kind of garbage, compared to Control Warrior which it has the same concept but is a much more reliable, hell i dare to say that even Control Paladin or N'Zoth Paladin is a better control deck than Priest (ironically, Control Warrior and N´zoth Paladin lose against Priest), so yeah i don't think there is a hidden gem like Blizzard says when it comes to current Priest.

I played against this list (or one with 1-2 card difference) last night at rank 11. I was playing C'Thun Warrior. Priest got beat without much trouble. A lot of passing turns for both players, but in the end some of the few midrange minions I had forced inefficient removal from the priest and left him without much in the way of answers for a well-timed Emperor, Brann, Veklor and C'Thun.

I think that Ben Brode was talking about a whole new archetype with priest. Keep in mind, there are still A LOT of cards that people either don't play or haven't found a place for yet. Sooner or later, someone will stumble upon some combo of cards that is super strong and will build a new meta game deck. I don't for one second believe that out of all the devs on the Hearthstone team, someone hasn't designed cards with other cards in mind to build decks around. You know that these people spend hours upon hours playing with new cards, trying to find ways to exploit them before we even know about them. Kripp this is a great decklist but I think maybe Brode had something completely different in mind :)

I think a lot of the problem is that Velen's Chosen and Deathlord is gone. The entire point of Priest is "get a big minion out that can trade for the board as you keep it alive into the mid and late game." Before Standard, Priest could do that by playing a Gilbin Stalker (2/3 stealth) or Wyrmrest Agent. Throw Velen's on it and suddenly you have a 4/7 or a 4/8 with Taunt. Or just our friend Deathlord for getting that out and dominating the early board with just one minion. Get into the mid game, Auchenai-Circle or Excavated Evil. With Silences essentially out of the game (I think Reno Lock is the only one that runs any kind of silence), buffs have been given a huge buff. But instead of Priests getting a strong replacement for Velen's, they got an easy contender for the second worst buff in the game. And here is the sad part: Priests being weak until next year is actually better for newer players. If Priests get some kind of card in the next Adventure that helps them out significantly, it means the barrier for new players to *fix an entire class* is a lot higher... I don't blame Brode for doing the "their might be a Priest deck out there" thing though. Because, when everyone thought that Shaman was terrible before LoE, he said the same thing about Shaman. And Face Shaman was found. Yes, it got a huge buff in LoE with Tunnel Trog and again with Flamewreathed but Brode wasn't too far off. This time though? Yeah, Priest doesn't have the means to deal with so many different types of deck. They can make themselves good against one type of deck but then they are completely slaughtered against decks that aren't that type.

Ok, that's becoming ridiculous. For me, it is OBVIOUS that Ben Brode successfully trolled most of the streamers to go out and try a class that is not particularly bad, never was unplayable and unsuccessful and is not such at the present time. The only thing that differs this class from others is that it seems to have solid decks which all require skill, patience and unique style of playing. There is no unicorn priest, but wise throwing of a McGuffin by Ben Brode worked - all the streamers I watch are now releasing content about priest, play priest and, consequently, win with priest. And those decks are not a bit share the same ideas, styles and strategies! Great job, Blizz. Only thing that I can't explain to myself is why is everyone so blind about fabricated so-called Unicorn Priest?

What do Priests have more of than any other class? Mind-control. The missing Priest in is the mind-control Priest. You can steal cards from your opponent, take control of the minions... even their shades deathrattle gives you a card from your opponents class. What does that tell you? It tells you that the Priest deck is not complete without cards from your opponents deck. SO make an incomplete deck. Then fill it up with your opponents cards. Its weaknesses would mainly be mirror matches and aggro. But you could out tempo (through healing, since your deck could be silly heal heavy due to you stealing cards from your opponent to make the deck 'whole') your opponent with ease. Just make it to turn 11+ and win.

Problem with preist is that its overall power level is alot lower then every other class. Hell fire doesnt affect preist as much as warlocks and would be such a better card in a preist deck. Excavated evil is alot worse since it doesnt deal damage to face which preist doesnt care about on his face but loves on his oponents face. And it gives your oponents the ability to fatigue for longer.

becouse lack of cards i did -chillmaw - 2 doomsayers -embrace the shadow + ysera (ysera is lategame dragon, that can give you boardclear) + wild pyromancer (to compensate lack of doomsayers) + 2 "deal 2 dmg" spells for 1 mana. (to combo with pyro and malygos)

Would Velen's be better to use than malygos? It's double for all spells and hero power as well so it's more versatile I think like to use first embrace than flash heal. But you do lose the synergy with deathwing and I would think deathwings deathrattle would get countered easily.
