thanks for detailed explanation, trying to get legend with this deck but always stuck at diamond 1, and starting to lose. Other decks (zarimi, pain lock, reno sham, reno war, buff pal, hunter decks, etc.) are worse for me

Glad I was able to help you brother. I do want to let you know that I did this right before the mini set was released. At the time I would argue it was the best deck in the meta. In my opinion since the release of the mini set Painlock has become the most popular deck. I feel this version is now the third best deck in the meta. I currently feel that the excavate paladin is slightly better because of its more favorable matchup into painlock. This version is by no means bad against that deck I just think excavate paladin is better into the matchup and as well into spell mage which is becoming more popular. @@beatsbyash I tried both pain lock and excavate pal, they work worse for me than flood pal. Moreover, I have the statistics for Diamond 5 - Diamond 1 ranks. Pain lock 49% winrate. Excavate pal 55% winrate. And flood pal (version from ur video) 70%! winrate. Pain lock seems weak for me, because in this aggro meta it's a bad idea to damage urself, cause a lot of heroes can finish you on turn 4-5, you won't have enough mana to play all 0 mana big units + play infernal with taunt to get 15 hp and prevent ur death next turn. Excavate pal deck, in my opinion, is more luck-based, than flood pal, and has less winning conditions and good card synergies. Anyway, every player should choose the deck with good winrate for them, if something is working for you don't change it.

@@timuriobro I completely agree with you about choosing what fits your playstyle because then you will perform better. I honestly do not think painlock is very good I just think it is the most popular right now. Also data is very misleading especially with high skill cap decks like no minion mage. If the people playing a certain meta strategy are all missing something about the deck it can give a misrepresentation. But that is awesome you are doing so well with it. I was genuinely surprised I had a 80% winrate with a decent sample size using it.

What would you recommend to kick from the deck for Tigress Plushy instead of Tarim? I find Tarim to be highly impactful. I will kick Pozzik for 1, but what can I kick for the 2nd?

In the video I mentioned I would be willing to cut down on sea giant potentially because in some ways it’s a win more card. Also it was most important in the warrior matchup to diversify the board so it becomes more difficult to clear our board using only one piece of removal. Now that Brann is nerfed we are seeing less warrior so I wouldn’t be opposed to cutting it.

To be honest this build is intended to be a bit too fast pace for those cards. If you want to use those cards I would recommend checking out the excavate paladin video I just uploaded and try slotting those cards into that build. The excavate paladin deck is a lot better suited for using later game cards!

I got in lot of situations where crusaderaura was active but the enemy just dint pla minions. So tigress plusy was useless. Could not play it in 10 games aldo I had tigres in hand every game. Tahts why I cut the card. If it gets play its strong yes. But if you cant play it then that dusnt matter.

That might just be anecdotal combined with your small sample size. If the opponent for some reason isn’t developing the board unless they’re playing warrior then you’re probably winning the game anyway. If you’re playing against mostly warriors then that would be a good reason to remove it.
