StrifeCro what do you think about a controlly priest deck that runs double mindblast, velen and emperor? Its like malygos warlock. If any myndblast or velen gets emperor'd you can deal 20 dmg to the face in 1 turn. Works fine for me.

+Elastas Lastine It's pretty good against hunter, but the reason why you see so few freeze mages on ladder is because of control warriors. The match-up is about 95 - 5 in favor of warrior. So basically it's an auto-loss and the time is spent more efficiently if you just concede when you see a control warrior and go for another opponent.

Decent video, rng favoured you quite a few times throughout mostly by giving you a good starting hard or draws, but all in all it was some pretty neat gameplay over there. Thumbs up StrifeCro.

Ctrl warrior is winnable with some luck, I have done so with different freeze mage setups, running 1) double pyroblast, 2) antonidas, or 3) malygos. Usually it involves a ridiculous Thaurissan hand, or the warr not being able to remove one of your big guys.

I actually use Malygos instead of archmage, and run duplicate for thaurissan. It allows you to burst an insane amount of damage for exact situations like facing control warrior. I usually win control warrior match ups.

I wonder if you will win even you draw frost bolt next turn in the last warrior game. You pyroblast his face then he is 5 health. He need 10 more to live. He will need shield maid plus wirwind and armor to push up to 17. A likely chance becauseto win he run so much unusual card. Anyway, good job strife.

Has nothing to do with what a certain player plays and more what is most popular/interesting for the community

You really think high profile streamers of the hearthstone community aren't going to have a direct effect on what decks people play? Kripp did a video about Holy Wrath/Giants deck and for a few days afterwards, you'd encounter a few on the ladder or casual. Of course certain staples are going to remain consistent because everybody wants to climb, and nobody wants to put the effort into constructing something that actually counters the meta; Net-decking and pre-construction is the way most people play the game. (Face Hunter, Grim Patron, Ctrl Warrior, etc.) People started using Dragon-Warlock, because it was proven successful by Strife and others. Yet, somehow, they make no difference on the popularity of those decks? Uhhh...are you smoking crack?
