casselfornia yeah he played well... But playing the doomsayer at 16:17 wasn't good imho. Next turn he had 8 mana, so he could've blizzard + doomsayer, making the opponents potential coin + Alex really awkward and play his own on a clear board turn 9.

Prudence Halliwell he wanted to save the coin for Antonidas. It didn't matter if he wasted fireball when antonidas gives him another one for free and for 0 mana with coin.

I know this comment is heaps late, but I have a question nonetheless; At the start you talk about "ideally never playing/drawing the ice barriers and just drawing burn" if that is the case, why don't you run any Firelands Portals etc. in place of the barriers? (you kind of talk about them as if they are dead draws). Or are the barriers just there to give you more health to last in those games where you have bad hands?

That's more for a control mage/board control. Doesn't seem good for freeze.

Loot Hoarder or Novice Engineer. Honestly, Antonidas doesn't even feel that good right now, there aren't many control decks out there and the loss of Ice Lance made Fireballs a lot harder to generate. Still worth running if you have him of course.

Mark McDonagh probably just forgot about it's from glyph, he was sniping the last game too, concede with 10+ health. I bet he was salty and changed to play this identical deck but still got rekt.
