-Seeing Kripp talk about his achievements was actually pretty endearing! Glad to see him so nostalgic. -I would be super interested in an IRL stream, and having something interesting going on besides the gameplay. The traveling/gaming stream idea is a great one. -Kripp actually seems *more* chill in regular life; if you see when he's just talking with Rania or something, he's quick to smile and laugh. I'd actually love to shoot the shit with him sometime, even compared to other HS players whose content I enjoy more. Overall, it's just really nice to see a video where Kripp is a lot more conversational and open compared to when he's clearly in a bad mood. Now let's *SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON TO HIT 20K LIKES SO KRIPP CAN EAT A (VEGAN) DOLPHIN!!1!*

Carlos Murillo I agree with everything you said! It's great to hear when the streamers and content creators I watch the most can appreciate how hard they have worked and see what they have built. Kripp is chill and no bullshit, and that's why I love watching his streams. He's informative, competitive, and entertaining! Also, I'm totally for the IRL streams playing mobile games. I wonder how he feels about the Nintendo Switch? I'm sure he has talked about it before but I probably missed that stream.

hey kripp, long time watcher here, wanted to say that I've always appreciated your sheer level of dedication in doing things you're passionate about, it's unlike anything I've seen in other people because you take it to another level, someone who goes the extra mile and isn't afraid of working hard is a very rare thing these days. On top of that, you're honest, my number one important trait is honesty, especially with yourself and you possess even that. Which is really what i think all your fans would say sets you apart from other YTers that are fake and is the reason a lot of us watch. Nobody wants to see you be artificial and you already have other YTers and steamers beat in terms of moral integrity. Basically, i wanted to say that i would totally be ok and even excited about a change in content as long as you remain yourself while doing it. i really enjoy the idea of HS mixed in with irl traveling and would even encourage taking the stream on a world tour, maybe to even really exotic places lol. It would bring lots of diversity and life to the channel and streamer and might double as a semi-vacation for you and you wife (which you deserve) imo, while still retaining your core fans who are here for you. I hope to see an interesting mix-up like that happen and will always appreciate all the content and things you do for your audience. thanks

Jack wasn't always like this. I remember some gameplays of him where he was more serious about it. Now it just pains me to watch. I really enjoy youtubers who are sincere with who they are in the videos. Kripp, Kibler, ChilledChaos and Ohmwrecker are my all-time favorites. Pewds is kind of a difficult topic. On one hand, he talks about this kind of thing, on the other hand, he still does exactly what he talks against. I have mixed feelings about him. Still, his content is worth watching.

Pewdiepie is an irritating hypocrite who went through a rebel phase. All he does is talk about memes, he's a "commentary" channel now. I remember when he said that his joy in life came from connecting with people who watch his lets plays by becoming their friends, he dropped that really fast when he realized he could make money no matter what he does.

Sweaty Woman except he said that the videos he uploads now are what he enjoys, because it's these videos that connect him to his fans. He said if he has the choice to bring back his ties with Disney, but lose connection with his fans, like before or now, he would pick the latter. He's said he doesn't enjoy games as much anymore, unless the game is really good, he most likely won't upload it. His content isn't hypocritical, don't know where he contradicts himself unless he's just being sarcastic

3:41 Personally I couldn't agree more with Kripp about this... An idea I think might be interesting to keep the meta fresh in between expansions would be introducing a "Resurgence" mechanic, where each Hearthstone season a "Wild Only" set is picked and made "Standard" again and it keeps rotating: so say, in June it's Naxx, in July it's GvG, etc...

Firstly, really liked the chat and banter in this one. Some good topics of conversation. Enjoyed it way more than the content this time around. :-P Beyond that, thought I'd touch on video game achievements. I'm a big gamer myself, though I'll readily admit that some bad performance anxiety has stopped me achieving any great heights with it (both video and real life). But hey, I'll throw in some of my 'biggest' achievements. * > Not really a video game - there was a competition run by Virgin Mobile here in Aus about 4 years ago, in the form of an augmented reality game over 3 weeks that had about 40 thousand players involved. The game was basically a treasure hunt for prizes that were dropped around the Australian capital cities, in the form that they were dropped on a digital map and you had to go to the location to pick them up. There were two ways to win - the normal way was to be holding these prizes at the end of the three weeks (you could steal them off players you got close enough to), or you could earn the most points (points were awarded to people who first picked up the prizes that were dropped, as well as posting statuses on Facebook and Twitter each day). > The first day of the comp, I had actually forgotten it had started until about halfway through the day. Then for the next two days or so, I didn't focus on the main prize (the one awarded to the highest points winner - points were hidden by the by) and just goofed around stealing prizes off people, before realising that there was realistically no way to hold them for 3 whole weeks. By the third day I realised there were a few tactics I could employ that would let me be the first to drops fairly often, such as being awake and ready to drive at 6am (the competition was set to a time zone 3 hours ahead, and started at 9 - but in my city, there was basically no-one else playing at 6), or even being at the drop site of one I had seen when the competition had closed (as I correctly deduced that if a drop ended the day not-picked-up, the next day it would be in the same spot). > Using these tactics, I hit top spot by the Sunday morning. I was very excited, as it meant I had the potential to win the whole thing - but very nervous, as without points being displayed I'd never know how much of a break I had. My only option if I really wanted to win was to be extremely vigilant about the whole thing, and not let up. Over the next two weeks, I was probably the most disciplined I've ever been. Waking up at 5 every morning to ensure I was fully ready to go at 6, and then after picking up any prizes that dropped when playing opened, I would park and sit in the middle of the city so I'd have the best chance at being in range of any new drops. I would do that until peak traffic died off in the mid morning - then go home, and do low-brainpower activities like watching some shows while also watching the game map like a hawk (I also enlisted my sister to help out with this task - she'd text me as soon as she saw anything, in case I missed it). The second week ended, and I was still on top. > Each day in the third week kept on ticking, and each day I remained in the lead. I even had a couple people on Facebook following my progress on the map (you could see the leader on the map), and had one guy who had apparently been trying really hard to catch up declare it "all over" with a few days to go after I got about 5 points in one day (it seemed like, for most people, you'd be lucky to get 1). The game was set to close on Sunday - and I had a pretty fruitful Saturday, so was starting to get excited. Then Sunday started, and the hours ticked by. No drops nationally... no drops nationally... no drops nationally. By about 12, I knew that they were basically letting people focus on the stealing side of the game for the final day, and that meant that as the current leader, I'd almost surely win unless something crazy happened. As each minute got closer to the 3pm closing time, I got more and more excited, pacing around the house while looking at my phone to make sure I didn't miss any. > And then the game was over. And I had won. 2 and a half weeks of dedication, after using my video game experience to craft a strategy and trying to min-max as much as possible, and it paid off. I won a $50k holiday package (which I got to design myself), as well as an additional trip to Sydney to do some PR stuff on the Monday after the comp had ended. Besides taking my family + sister on a holiday as a way of saying thanks for their help, my sister also won a phone, gift card and skateboard as part of the theft side of the game (interesting story with that too - she and my mum basically drove out into the country on the last day to protect their stuff, and were chased the whole day by two other players, so they didn't exactly get to relax in safety XD). This was a long story, I know, but it's the one case where I got to put my video game experience to use and actually get some significant real world profit out of it. * I loved World of Warcraft for many years, and while I've been in and out of hardcore raiding since, I did hardcore raid between late vanilla into early Wrath (before a real life work schedule basically shut that down for me). In any case, besides a few server firsts I was also one of only about 50 or so people on our server that got 'the Immortal' title in the Naxx 2.0 raid. That also meant that I was one of a select few who got the Black Proto Drake mount (while the achievement didn't award that directly, it was part of a meta achievement that did). Both those have since been removed as achievement rewards, so despite having mounts and titles I may prefer, I make it a point to almost always use them. * Again, not really a video game, but poker - I've always been arguably the best in my group of friends, but hadn't taken it further. Started playing some local freeroll tournaments, and had something like a 75% rate of making the final table, and winning the whole thing about 25% of the time. I should attempt some paid tournaments at some point, but I need to get over that performance anxiety (made worse by the idea of risking real money). I think the big thing about video games, and anything in life, is the whole effort and reward side of things. If you put in a lot of effort, and end up getting something you perceive to be a great reward, it can be very impactful and meaningful to you.

You’re hoping for too much, Kripp. Blizzard-Activision won’t get into the habit of balancing cards because it’s more profitable for them not to. If you have a large set of playable cards, your players could buy just a couple of packs and be able to improve their decks or even create a whole new one. But if you have a large set of unplayable cards with some playable ones, and a few crazy ones, then players have to spend lots of money on lots of packs just to get those few crazy cards. Profits and exploitation. That’s why card balancing will never occur in Hearthstone.
