O_o For most people that have played Burst Mage time to time, including myself, that is extremely rare, like 1 in a million to have Emperor Thaurissan, both Frost Bolts, both Ice Lances, 2x spell damage, and Fireball all in the first half of your deck. Half the time games are drawn out until you kill with a Pyroblast.

***** Some roaring torches could replace other elements, and Thalnos or the new mage spellpower 2 drop could replace the geomancers (or possibly one of the spells). Of course, roaring torches take extra setup time, and loading your deck with so many 2 drop spellpower minions makes you that much more combo dependent. This condition isn't that crazy rare if you totally build a deck around it - it's just that you'll almost always lose the 90% of the time you don't get fantastic cost-reduced burst.

5:10 Buuuullshiiiiit! I recently played against a Yogg-Saron, kind of miracle-style Rogue and he got INSANE luck with Yogg-Saron. He played Yogg, got exclusively positive spells, including Shadowstep on Yogg-Saron. And that happened three turns in a row. I shit you not, not a SINGLE spell was negative for him. I wasn't even mad, I was simply laughing my ass off about the insane RNG - only thing I regret was that I didn't record the game.

1. I'll probably be the smartass here, but it easily looked like a torch mage. I've seen quite a few of those, and getting the right cards & bursting you down in an INTERACTIVE & FUN way from 29 is quite common. It even tilted the usually very calm Kibler.

If you hard mulligan for astral / innervate in hand from turn 1, the chances you draw the "combo" is approximately 4.5/10 by turn 2. He had done this over 20 games or so...

I played an aggro ish Shaman deck earlier and a guy played Astral Communion on turn 1 by getting double Innervate + Communion. He managed to draw Nourish right after and drew the exact cards he needed throughout the game. Got too swarmed and I lost. The deck's stupidly inconsistent and pretty bad, but if you manage to draw the exact hand you need, it's pretty hard to lose.

Pirantsable they have dark bargain, succubus, doomguard and soulfire. Four cards is quite a lot more significant. If druid had a discard synergy, it could just as easily read "whenever you play Astral communion...". Not only is that ridiculous, but it also makes one card in the set obsolete in a later standard mode. Besides that, discarding is very much unlike the druid aesthetic. Making it a gimmic of druid would make the class feel less consistent. It would also mean that warlocks loose the monopoly on a (admittedly, extremely terrible) effect. I mean, there's a reason combo only exists in rogue and all overload cards are for shaman: each class needs to be unique.

I feel like the way you built the deck is a little bit off. You shouldn't really have any lategame minions without an immediate effect on the board like ysera, onyxia or nefaria. Instead if you'd put in some cheaper minions with taunt like sunwalker or the jouster or some more ramp with a mire keeper the deck would be a lot more consistent. I dont know if you've been told already but thijs played that kind of deck even before the old gods expansion and did quite well with it.

ranked play has been so ludicrous since the expansion but certainly entertaining. Fought several druids like this and one of them won I think, but just barely. I was playing a warlock who became a paladin... Then there is all the crazy evolving shaman stuff and of course Yogg. High ranking players do all these things

+Greensburgg I run Aviana in AC deck, I use it to cast Exodia for when you don't get AC on curve. Naga Seawitch on turn whatever, the turn after Aviana for 5, then up to 5 other cards for 1 (without innervate). Aviana overwrites the Naga so thats pretty great. Aviana into double Blood of the Ancient One can be done and its hillarious. THE DOOM OF WORLDS AWAKENS ONCE MORE!!! (Thats what the Ancien One says when you summon him)

Aggro decks can mostly empty hand by turn 4 and still have a decent board presence. If so, would you trade 4 crystals for 7-9 cards? Anyway, 4 or 5 mana, it's definitely not a good card, but it might be fun tho. =P

+SQW0 Forbidden Tracking: 0 mana. Spend all mana, draw 1 card for every 2 mana spent this way. Hunter class card. (Card rounds up, 5\6 mana = 3 cards). Something like that?

at the last clip it was kripp fault he lost. He should have attacked face at 17:48 to do 10 damage, then the mage can't thaurissan next turn and gg.
