I think the fact that Kripp complains is makes his points more valid than invalid. It's not like he is just whining, he is expressing frustration with negative points of the game. Sure, he could pander to the masses and laugh and smile and act like nothing is wrong, but how valid does that make him?

This is one of those times that you can in fact use the "they started it" Argument. If you dismiss someone because they "whine" That does not mean anything. If they are annoyed at his mannerisms fine, they are allowed to be. But not a good enough reason to dismiss someone's opinion completely.

This is why I think each card in the set of 3 should have a hover over that shows you the next 3 it will offer (different for each current card offered), that way the off cards that are not normally good can be included if they offer good enough next picks, synergy picks can also be accomplished this way instead of just opting for pure curvestone.

Turns out, Ultimate Infestation not only makes Druid Tier 0 in constructed and bonkers in arena, but also THE best deck in the Blood Magic Tavern Brawl as you can LITERALLY 0TK people ON TURN 1.

You don't need three of them. You just pack all of Druid's card draw in, innervates, and Violet Illusionists. You tank the damage to your face to draw until you get Violet Illusionist, then you keep drawing cards until you've played enough claws, bites, and swipes to deal 20 or more damage to your opponent alongside 5-10 damage to their face with 1-2 Ultimate Infestations. Also, the ultimate infestations cost 10 (10 health) but also give you 5 armor, so in reality they cost 5 health each.

Chaan DenHoven You can draw into other cards that do that. I assume he doesn't mean 3 because you can't run 3 in a deck and that only does 15 damage. But you can draw into all of your ramp and use your health for it then. With the cards you've drawn OTK somehow? Not sure

So heres a story: Few days ago thought ill come back and try the new expansion. Still had a rogue hero quest for 10 wins in standart. Hearing you praise the druid and saying barely anything defeats it now i thought i will give up after two games. Then after realizing that I have no new cards from the last 3 expansions just pressed classic on paladin. Won 10 out of 11 games. Played against druids priests paladins mages 1 shaman etc. They had hero cards, new legendaries and all that kind of stuff. Early ranks 25-20 is still playable even with the net decks. If you think a little its totally doable.

for the synnergy pick it may be good to have more than just 3 (thats how much there are I think) and with every pick the synnergy gets stronger, so that the synnergy picks synnergise with each other and are not random everytime, maby the first 15 cards and the others beeing random. I don't mind decks beeing really strong, what I do mind, is that there is such a big variaty and with a bad deck u just have no chance, so every deck should be somewhat on a similar poverlevel. I know, there are risks with that, maby the strongest classes in constructed may also be the strongest in arena, but there are ways to combat this, like baning cards, supporing classes, that lose more on average and I think it would be a cool idea to test for one week, that everyone gets a deth knight at their first pick, so that noone feels really annoyed if the other has one, maby even having the option to keep it in the mulliganphase, like the quests

HollowWoods No matter how people feel about him as a KZbinr or his other opinions, it's easy to look at the argument in a vacuum. "Should hero cards be allowed in arena? Yes or no, and why?" I vote no, based on the fact that one of them, DK Jaina, is so incredibly OP in arena that it kinda ruins it for the rest of them. Most of the other ones need more synergy to work. Jaina's is just an absolute powerhouse and incredibly hard to deal with outside of constructed. Uther's is also pretty powerful, and so is Garrosh's, but Jaina's gives near infinite survival with her leeching water ele's that she can make for 2 mana almost each turn. It's just incredibly broken in arena and basically a win condition on its own. Of course it helps to draft some ele's to get the most of it, but you don't actually need to.
