+Михаил Басистый - It's a terrible play. The deck originally runs 2x Bear Traps as well hence the Scientists. But Kolento probably cut those for stupid aggro cards like Haunted Creeper or Knife Jugglers.

Imo, Ram Wrangler is not worth playing. The average result is pretty terrible and getting an Acidmaw at the wrong time can lose you the game. Also, there's no way I'd cut Dr. Boom from Midrange Hunter.. ever.

+akhs denlew I just pointed out that this particular archetype is a beast hunter not midrange as the previous comment referenced. I never said this archetype is good nor did i say ever say this will replace midrange hunter. But now with the league of explorers coming out i expect tomb spider and jeweled scarab to make this archetype good again.

+akhs denlew You see the problem with this deck is not because the beast synergy itself is bad. Kolento put too many 2 drops and not enough of the big beasts themselves. For this version of Kolento's deck I recommend replacing snake trap with tomb spider, mad scientist with maybe stampeding kodo, haunted creeper with loatheb and one healbot and explosive trap with houndmaster.

+Pasha There is no such thing as auto pilot legend deck. Yes, some decks are definitely easier to play then others, but reaching legend is not an easy thing to do with any deck. Except if you are a good player, but everything is easy when you are good.

Трифон Трифонов The deck plays itself for you. Best minions at every mana cost, unreasonable amount of late game threats for how aggressive you are, crazy tempo from a 6/6 that plays five mana worth of cards, deck thinning to make your late game draws impactful, and a card draw engine that punishes slow decks. The only thing you lack is serious burst. There's a reason this deck has been considered one of the best since its inceptions. It's the only deck that bots can get a positive win rate on too. I agree that legend takes a good deal of time to get, but secret pally is the easiest road to it. There's practically no decision making involved, so it's an autopilot deck.

**Puts Webspinners in deck** **Deck has 13 out of 18 minions that cost 4 mana or less (that's 72%)** **Wonders why he doesn't win jousts** Do you see the issue? Here's a few solutions. Aim to only have 5 mana minions and up, with the obvious exception of your irreplaceable minions (elekk's, scientists, owls and shredders). Replace Webspinners with Ball of Spiders. Replace Haunted Creepers with Powershots. Replace Knife Jugglers with Bear Traps. Replace Houndmasters with Stampeding Kodos / Stranglethorn Tigers (or highly valued 5-7 mana cost legends, if you prefer that instead). Mulligan for Mad Scientist, Elekk, Bow and Powershot (in that order) at the beginning of the game. Profit. This deck is called Midrange Hunter for a good reason. The Beast title is there just to throw you off, Kolento pretty much fucked it up. You have too much early game in your MIDrange deck and it's the wrong kind of early game: minions that show up in Face Hunter decks such as Knife Juggler and Haunted Creeper. Midrange =/= aggro.

+darksoul Have you ever actually played like that? Midrange hunter is strong because of early board presence that can be carried on into the later rounds. You don't build your whole deck around winning stupid elekk jousts: elekk is good because he's a cheap beast minion that can be played together with ram wrangler, houndmaster or kill command and because he *sometimes* also draws you a card. But maybe you're just trying to mislead people into making horrible choices?

Ram wrangler also works with snakes. Besides, as you can see, he's winning games against legendary players with this "bad deck". And the two hunter marks have synergy with the snake trap: reduce them to one, kill them with one snake or one hound.

+Cascade617 Kolento is definetly top 3 players in hearthstone with good experience and very nice gameplay, the fact that he beats legend players doesnt mean that this deck is good.this deck is actually VERY bad compared to midrange hunter and face hunter.The fact that kolento is able to defeat legend players is completly irrelevant to the subject

Is there a reason why you play Webspinners instead of Ball of Spiders? They fuck up your jousts and they will never ever be a good turn 1 play against any class. In other cases, it's nothing more than barely decent. Kind of a stupid card to play in this deck. :s The beast synergy is not that great and you can get it with Ball of Spiders too.

Because it's a one-drop that effectively draws you a card (random beast) when it dies. Hunters have very little card draw and the random beast can be really awesome sometimes.

+darksoul Ball of spiders?! No one runs that shit, it's six mana for no pressure. Webspinners on the other hand have been the go to one drop in midrange hunter since I can remember. They challenge early minions, provide CHEAP beast synergy, and are a great way to slip some draw into a pretty fast deck.
