He was based on a joke post made in reddit a few years ago. I dont remember the name of the subreddit, but it was something like /r/worldofwarcraftdadjokes or something like that. The joke was something like this: " If the lich king has a pet, it would be named 'Arfus'"

TL:DR Valanar was an important boi who would help lead the armies of the scourge. Keleseth helped out with stuff and was almost like some sort of enforcer. Taldaram was fucking useless, just like he is in Hearthstone.

Blood Queen Lanathel..would be interesting..and, as much as she's not in KotFT her sister? Thalena assuming she has any lore at all.. aside from that, would be interesting to see what you can dig up on Hadronox, wanna know a little more than just the rather bothersome dungeon boss it is, and how it's connected to the nerubians of Azjol Nerub..I mean it does appear to be straight up killing them in the tunnel otherwise

Everything's linked together with warcraft lore, huh... The scourge, which fought with the forsaken, alliance, and horde, formerly allied with the burning legion, killed a ton of elves in dalaran and silvermoon and resurrected Kel'Thuzad, turned them into undead, who then made more death knights under the command of the lich king, and sought to ally with Archmage Arugal, creator of the Worgen for the defense against the scourge, which would also lead to the death of Lord Godfrey, who got raised as an undead by the forsaken. Whoo.

Had a few mentions of this. I count the Scourge Death knight and horde as different things as they were very different, one a spell caster, one a warrior. However due to the confusion, I've learnt to always clarify which type of Death knight I'm referring to now :)

Well the video mentioned shapeshifting (which prince taldaram can do in hs) and also vampirism and soul-draining (which is represented by lifesteal in prince Valanar) so at least there's that. Prince keleseth though, don't know about him.

first death knight wasn't Arthas, first DK has been risen by Gul'dan during the second war to please Orgrim Doomhammer in his conquest of Eastern Kingdom > and the first DK was ex-Teron'gor known by his DK name Teron Gorefiend ( boss in Black Temple) > get your information right :P

Personally count horde and scourge Deathknights as totally different thing. They were totally different entities, just shared the same name. It's like saying the first guy who put things in boxes was the first boxer over the guy that did the punching :P. I'd say the fighter was the first boxer but given the context most people know what I'm talking about :) Just trying to explain my thought process when writing though saying scourge deathknight would have made that more obvious :)

their spicies may be different but it dont chage the fact that a death knight is someone that has died and then is revived through necromancy, be it arthas or teron gorefiend they both died and all became death knights, if you mean to say arthas was the first human death knight then you would be correct but you clearly say "First ever Death Knight" which is incorrect anyway it was not meant as me having a go at you, just more as contructive kritisism, because even though what you think it is in the way you see it in lore they are the same thing just from different species and then agian they really arent since gorefiend is revied in a humans body but the soul in there is that of an orc. if you mean that from your point of perspective they're not the same, it might be wise to say that in the video since it looks like you really did'nt put any rescearch into making the video, this is something many lore tellers of YT do to cut out alot of explanation and would be completely understood, by the people watching since explaining about a character that has no value to the story you're telling would seem pointless. i do believe you've put some time into researching the lore before making this since most of the lore explained is true to the lore and it's the same with the other of the your videos which i've seen, there are other bits here and there but nothing too big. it just seems wierd that sometimes you cut some corners to avoid somethings and that puts question marks in my heard that's all.

I can understand where you're coming from but to me the only thing they share is that they're undead. One was a Spell based unit in a body well into decay. The other a warrior based unit that wielded a rune blade with a body stronger than when living. They were not the same thing just shared a name, so Arthas was the first Deathknight of his variety. I didn't feel it was clarification that was needed, though I appear to be wrong here, won't make the same mistake in the future, will clarify "Scourge Death Knight" :) Oh and they share the spell Deathcoil :). You also misquoted me, I didn't say "First EVER Deathknight" which does imply I'd think he came before Gorefiend. Basically I'm trying to say, yeah you're right, I should clarify more but in know way did I think Arthas was the first person to be called a Deathknight in the Warcraft universe :)
