Poor hunters just don't have very much draw power. The only drawing class cards they got were king's elek (which might not even work) Lock and load (which will either work spectacularly and draw you an entirely new hand or will be the most feels bad dead draw in hearthstone) and tracking (which burns 2 cards and only nets you 1 in an age where every card counts and many game go to fatigue). The best draw hunter gets is from neutral cards which everyone else has so it doesn't really put them ahead of anything (cultmaster hounds is fairly nice but if the opponent doesn't have a board it doesnt do anything). I think hunter needs a straight up draw card like arcane intellect, ancestral vision, or sprint to have any hope of being a class that can control anything other than the opponent's life total by going face.

On the Tracking thing, I have to disagree. Hunter games don't go to fatigue, and the discards don't really matter. You're essentially paying 1 mana to decide your next draw, but it isn't really a draw card, because it's a single card and the only thing it does is draw a single card, kind of like far sight, in a way.

Paulo Machado That's kind of the point really. Why can't hunter go into fatigue?! They have no staying power. So what if you get to decide your next draw, if the opponent drags the game out you get absolutely fucked no matter what kind of hunter you play. You just burned 2 cards just to get that one you want. Hell you might not even get anything usable and you just burnt 2 other cards you could've used later. Hunter only has the option to end the game before turn 12-13 or else they just die.

Yogg is a really random card, but I think that if you could use Yogg with around 4-7 spells is ok, the chance that things will be ok is slightly good, at least for my self experience. I'm playing with a Reno rogue deck, so far with 12W-9L, is not that good but is very fun to play, at least for me.

+Davi Gomes the random affects of yogg stacks incrementally, so if its good at 1 spell it's 10x as good at 10 spells. or of its ok at 4-7 spells it's ok at 14-17 spells . I get the point though and it's damage mitigation. I like to play him as a get out of jail free card, though I haven't build any more decks around it as it's not impactful enough to win games at 10 mana. THough its a fun and interesting card that I try and fit into rogue/mage midrange control hybrid decks if able.

+Tom Welbourne It's not that simple, played while winning on board yogg might be best with no spells played but against a full board when you're about to die you want as many as possible. If you're at low health but they have board there will be a middle ground where the probability of wiping the board without killing yourself is maximised. 10x the spells =/= 10x as good.

DHREAVER Oh yeah, I get that it's just as likely to flame strike as pyroblast. with a board that makes it less likely for the single target spells to hit any one character (your face) so it's slightly skewed towards lower card count not having a negative sure. but I would just say on the balance of probabilities it's minimal, maybe I'm wrong though.

I also do hunter midrange, and it works pretty well for me. The only problem is that you need to be ahead early. Otherwise the natural lack of card draw will gradually starve you of a win. Nevertheless, hunter midrange is almost the only deck I enjoy in hearthstone.

+xSilent I used this deck to grind up to rank 5, Baron's primary purpose is to seal a game up against aggro decks and serves as the third AoE to go with Blizzard and Flamestrike. The closest card to Baron is the corrupted sear, the murloc that does 2 AoE damage to everything but murlocs. In any case you want a card that techs against aggro when replacing Baron.
