On my 2nd run with Tess I had the "spells that didn't start in your deck cost 1 less", met the "your spells have echo" boss, and drew sinister strike turn 1. it was pretty fun

It's not that hard to play against Amalgamate. With Tess for instance, if you don't have hard removal, you can play around it by removing all opponent's minions every turn and avoid playing more than 1 minion while refueling your hand with constant removal from your hero power. Eventually he will mill himself with his hero power.

To be fair, in the Darius one he won when 3C was on 7 mana, so that one doesn't count.

Zeroth I thought it was scripted, so I kept few minions on the board. Turn 8 passes and he doesn't play it, so I stay weary. On turn 10, he plays Deathwing. I am without removal, so I play a few big minions. He then topdecks amalgamates and completely destroys me.

If you can draft the "cards that don't start in your deck cost one less" and that one card that s deal 2 damage with echo, it's broken. Basically gives you near guaranteed removal every turn

Milled this guy's entire deck with 50 health left, he had bearshark on board and a hand full of cheap shots (Damn you Cho!) I had nothing but weapon buffs and minion damaging spells, had to sit there for 10 turns while he whittled me down

Nice one, Brian! My first Monster Hunt win was with Tess. Won with Jades like you did, but also with a 12/12 Edwin on turn 4. He kept attacking it, and got it down to one health, but I shadowstepped it back and made it a 16/16. :)P

Craziest thing that happened to me so far is that one boss that has a hero power that gives ALL spells echo. I started with counterfit coin and pickpocket in my hand and killed him on turn 1.

same time i first fought him, second time i got the card that reduce all in your hand by 3 + lock and load so when that happend i managed to mill him almost completely (including his kingsbane) and play a 14/14 Vancleef

Always interesting to see how other people beat bosses. Burning the cards was smart, I got scythe as a reward (Scarecrow weapon), boss played Lorewalker Cho and I had drawn scythe by turn 3.

first 3 times i played tess, the final boss never played fel reaver. i didn't even know he had it until try number 4. he was always just going deadly into deadly into leeching into more buffs and more buffs. I felt helpless as fuck. I also didnt know that every character had a specific final boss and that tess would always fight that pirate and the 4th time I was just like "i should just give up, try again, and hope to get a different boss..." glad i didn't because he went fel reaver into fell reaver and attacked with the last charge of his weapon like he did here and I was like kibler here and was all "FIRE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!" and backstab rock rock strike shurikened. I almost still lost because I am a stupid greedy fuck and wanted to take away all his cards and purposefully left both fel reavers alive when i could have killed one and damaged the other, but ended up being able to kill them before they smorked me to death

9:24 - missed lethal. If he attacks with everything, Exterminate doesn't say "enemy minion", so he exterminates his own Swarmer to deal 9 additional damage to the opponent. And he even has enough mana to kill the giant first if he wants to...

Did the most brutal OTK on the Hag that makes your spells cost health instead of mana. I had double starting HP, i summoned a hunter of old, hero powered twice into 2 Molten reflection, then cast cheap shot on each of her 4 minions for a total of +24 spell power, then cast a single razorpetal which hit her in the face for 31. I also still had an eviscerate and sinister strike in hand, the sinister strike would have done 39 and the eviscerate would have done 47. One turn i could have done a total of 117 damage to face with 3 spells.

Missed lethal against Grum on turn 6. You can Exterminate on your own minions as a means of doing damage to the boss' face, if that's what you want (while you can target both friendly and enemy minions, the hero damage is always dealt to the *enemy* hero). So as long as you swung with all minions, then any 2 you chose to Exterminate on would have provided at least the 8 necessary damage for lethal. No sweat though. It took me seeing it in another video to realise that's how it worked. Intuitively it feels like the damage should be dealt to the minion's controller. Edit: haha, Kibler realised it (through chat it seems) like straight after ending his turn. XD

I'm jealous. First time I made it to the end boss - my first run period - I had a similar jade package. I was all in on that plan. Then he played the Troggs early and I was f**ked. Just reached him again with aggro pirates. At least I now know of the Felreaver trick.

By the end of my tracker run I had 4 malygos with scepter of summoning and the treasure minion that whenever you cast a spell gain spell damage +2, so I Jade Shuriken‘ my opponents face for 17

Probably the most frustrating final boss of Monster Hunt. Fought him 5 times, the first 4, he high-rolled me every time, having an at least 10+ attack lifesteal kingsbane by turn 5, while i had no answers.. Last one the roles were swapped.

Tess is pretty straight forward. Every dungeon boss is easy because of high impact and high tempo cards because of the hero power. Basically just have to hope the final boss plays Cho or Reaver then spam spells

Ok, wtf whenever I play the Captain 5 turns in, I don't get any of my Jade Shurikens, I don't get any of my Deadly Shots, he doesn't play Felreaver to burn his board nor Cho to possibly overload his hand, and by this time he's got like a 10 attack Kingsbane with livesteal.

Snowflake I've managed to beat it using combinations of Fan of Knives, Backstab, and just the rocks from hero power but it's a really awful matchup without hero power cost 1 and you don't draw Fan

I just finished with Tess and the final boss burned his kingsbane because of my echo spells and gallywix He then proceeded to kill all of my minions as I played them as I took all his weapon buff spells and his doomarangs for my 3 weapons I used the old hunter so many times with the "deal three to enemy hero" throughout that run

Easiest boss was the one with your spells have echo. Turn 2 hero power, you get a small rock. Casted it 50 times to kill him

I dont know why everyone goes Jade, the Secret Synergy is OPOP. You can fetch the Upgraded Emerald Spellstone every-turn and turn each fight into a cheese fest

Toki is pretty easy.. Get the passive that replays the first spell u play and then play quest mage. When u complete the quest u get 3 turns back to back and just beat everything.

ots almost impossible to win with tess without the potion of vitality, Shivers gets a 7/4 weapon with lifesteal turn 7 on average, so you need it just to survive, its a must pick

It's not a must pick. I didn't pick it and I managed just fine. I've seen videos of others that managed just fine without it too. I cheesed it by spamming infinite amounts of Jade Shurikens that I just kept dugging back up with her hero power. Managed to complete her run 3 times with three different decks and none of the used the potion of vitality. You just need to start pressuring him early. For some reason, he seems to go after minions even when zerging your face is clearly the better option. No idea if that's intentionally designed or not, but that's how it was for me in all 3 fights and I came out ahead because of it every time.

First time I faced Shivers, he had Bearshark turn 1, Bearshark and Deadly Poisoin turn 2, Deadly Poison Tinker's Sharp Sword Oil turn 3 and another Tinker's turn 4. That is an 11 attack weapon on turn 4. I didn't even get to see Fel Reaver the first time.

I managed to beat him fairly easily by using Tools of the Trade to get the 1/8 Windfury weapon, and then I buffed it up using his cards to get a better Kingsbane.
