Laugh all you want Nekrofiler, but Purity has great synergy with the new assassinate minion. Silence that troublesome death rattle and draw a card seems pretty decent. Priest truly gained a lot in this expansion. If the next expansion treats them as well as this one Priest will definitely be playable.

Priest actually got some good cards this expansion, especially in the neutral slot. I think it's the same situation as TGT Shaman. The cards are good, they just can't save the class quite yet.

Bolby Ballinger Okay, people like to say this all the time, but Dragon priest is not even a thing now, Warrior does it better and even then 2 "meh" cards that only fit in 1 "meh" deck, does not make Priest good or even playable. We know Priest has no deck of it's own and no cards where made to make a deck that Priest does best. A.K.A. Priests have nothing.

I don't know if I'd say Book Wyrm (around 3:00) is all that bad in Arena. I mean, Stampeding Kodo is a pretty decent Arena card, and there are lots of cards with 3 attack that Book Wyrm would be able to destroy which Kodo couldn't. Admittedly, it's pretty hard to pull off a dragon combo in Arena, but if you have some dragon synergy, I think it might be worth trying the card out.

Purify has great synergy with the neutral assassinate minion. Karazhan Priest looks a lot like TGT Shaman to me. Not quite good enough, but certainly setting up the future. As for the speed of that future? Well, Zoolock will get a heavy nerf when BRM rotates out and Aggro Shaman won't have those Totem Golems when TGT goes out. So once the rotation sets in the meta will slow down enough for Priest to have a chance.

Christian Zink Is it an 8 mana assassinate though? I believe you get a 3/3 minion out of it. You also draw a card from Purify. So it's really an 8 mana 3/3 draw a card. Surely that's at LEAST on par with C'thun's Blade. Purify can also hit an Eerie Statue to give you a six mana 7/7 draw a card. Assuming the old Silence hasn't made it a four mana 7/7 already. Purify has a good number of targets. Like I said though it won't be a good card yet. Just like Totem Golem wasn't all that great in TGT.

+Bolby Ballinger Your comparison is off as a two-card combo is significantly worse than being able to just play one card. The effect is way more unreliable. The "draw a card" effect also doesn't really apply since you have to end up using two cards to begin with. So really, the effect is more like (sometimes) assasinate a minion and get a 3/3 for 8 mana or (sometimes) get a 7/7 for 6. Neither of those is remotely good enough to see any competitive play.

Prince Malchezaar allows you to choose 5 extra legendary's during deckbuilding, we already know they can change the number of cards you need in the 2 card brawl. Once you add malchezaar to your deck you can make a 35 card deck if you have atleast 5 other legendary's.

I can see more value out of Protect the King than with Unleash the Hounds. Unless your opponent's minions have Windfury, or your opponent uses a boardwipe, it's essentially Arcane Explosion + Frost Nova on its own. Add to that power the taunt/full-board synergies

Moroes seems like he'd fit really well in my gimmicky paladin deck which is all about divine shields. So far I've been going with Darkshire Steward alongside stand against the darkness, then popping the weapon that gives +1/1 to all minions with divine shield. The ability to have more 1/1s on my field with divine shield sounds interesting, especially because his stealth makes him a lot harder to remove than the steward itself.

I think Silverware Golem may only see play when BRM goes into wild. Because Zoolock only runs two 3 drops, Imp Gang Boss, and Darkshire Councilman. Both of these cards are extremely good and I find it hard to see people taking them out to fit Silverware Golem in. However if the discard synergies grow enough, when BRM is in wild, therefore Imp Gang Boss is in wild, this could be a replacement, who know?

Rate this card idea: Roque, 5 mana 3/3 combo 'steal a random card from your opponents hand'. My thought about this is that this card gives a 2-card lead (which is worth 3 mana when looking at Arcane Intellect), with a bonus of 3/3 body for 2 mana. The cool part is that you can screw combo's from your opponent by stealing an important card (fits rogues as they are characterized by disruption/stealing) or gain their good late-game card. The downsides are the need for a combo, the slow tempo-play and the chance for a really crappy card (Thoughtsteal -> shieldblock, anyone?). The mana slot seems nice to me as this is a mid-range card and combo-cards are usually saved for the late game. But keep in mind that topdecking this card is the worst (neither you nor your opponent have cards to combo with/steal) Let me know what you guys think, as i would love more interesting and deck defining cards!

Malchezaar's effect would probably be better as a battlecry, since you can choose when you add the bonus cards.

Paladin already has both a Dragon deck, and Murloc deck, I bet the Zoobot and Curator can make a pretty nipple-ly deck

Kripp, you forgot to mention King's Defender synergy with "Protect the king!" You could get a huge value weapon

But isnt Kara Kazham the spell we were looking for to combine with Chogall? Like if you play this with Chogall at turn 7 you have like 13/13 worth of stats (and take 5 dmg). Isnt that insane? Maybe its just me.

What I find curious about Prince Malchezaar is that it says 'Add 5 extra Legendaries' and not 'Add 5 random legendaries', which makes me wonder if the Legendaries are preset ones, perhaps even custom ones that would go along with the Karazhan theme. For the Fool's Bane one.. imagine Mogor The Ogre on the board and getting the RNG love and hitting 4 times in the face?
