Yeah he used to be a big part of the meta back in the day. Lots of people ran Harrison to destroy the weapon. Even still, he generally only attacked three or four times before either dying or overwhelming the opponent.

I can see why this would be his favorite game in a long time, but it is funny he had to give himself a pretty large handicap to make it has strategy-dependant to make it exciting. Most likely no Jaraxxus hasn't been a card people play for a long time because he doesn't do enough and what he does is worse than any quest, other hero or general gameplan Warlock has to offer. Basically they would have to scrap the mentality of hero characters being a thing all together which I don't think anyone would ever want. Oh and also Zephyrus is a thing and he can get you Sacrificial Pact.

He would have died to Leeroy on the previous turn if he hadn't played Hex.

He obviously didn't have Awaken on the turn after Kibler Hexed his own minions, because by itself it would've been lethal (kill the frogs and Invoke for 3 attack, Kibler is at 3 hp). And without the frogs, Ritual Chopper (which he did have) would've been lethal anyway.
