With just nine crystals, he cought him. Duplicate, Sourcerer's Apprentice, Emperor Thaurissan (2 turns), Archmage Antonidas, Echo of Medivh and Fireball. A powerful set of cards.

jundo110 The blizzard gave him 2 fireballs so he could cycle them both and not have to wait as much for the animations. It actually sped up his face damage as well as freezing the enemy board so the warrior wouldnt have lethal on board.

Donkeyiser what does "freezing the enemy board so the warrior wouldnt have lethal" even mean? the mage would win in this round alone anyway, there is no possible way he would lose with infinite 0 mana fireballs. some say that he might run out of time but that is not the case, since somebody just counted and figured that with this rate, he would kill the warrior and have as much as 15 seconds left of the timer. no objections about cycling between 2 fireballs though, you are right on this one and i would do the same.

Alexander Markström He was attempting to convey the message that the warrior had priorly taken damage in the time during the match that occurred before the start of the video we have watched. His misunderstanding was that he believed you had tried to say the warrior had been damage but, in fact, you had been referring to the Emperor Tharussian having discounted the mana costs of the cards prior to the claimed "one turn kill". Conversely to this, it could be considered that as the damage was all given on the same turn it was in fact a "one turn kill" due to the warrior being killed in one turn. I hope this made it clearer for you.

Alexander Markström You're just arguing semantics. Like it or not, but the vast majority of the hearthstone community considers this a OTK. Even the priest's combo of Deathlord + 2x Divine spirt + Inner fire for 36 lethal is considered a OTK. The term is about doing bursting lethal in one turn, not about the set up.

Sigh, people just keep failing to understand the point of "OTK", it means ONE TURN KILL, which means you have to perform ALL the combo in ONE TURN, not by some cards reducing the cost in previous turns, then it will not be ONE TURN KILL, it'd be like Three Turn Kill.

toreyzyre yep. You're the only one. Armor Smith, 4 whirlwind effects with the Deathspites and whirlwind, a bunch of minions, Shield maiden = +5 Armor, shield block +5 = 20 + hero power and mage didn't ping it down, because SETUP for OTK.

OMFGcataFAN1 7 more fireballs and it was nearing rope time for 15 seconds left. The cast animation + the AHA animation + the card being clickable in the hand makes me question it really, but overall I think he had enough time. Edit: took him about 30 seconds to cast the first 7 fireballs. Another 30 seconds is cutting it pretty close.

Rope burn is 15 seconds, each players turn is 70 seconds if this was with the latest patch, He needed 7 fireballs to finish him off at 38 health /armor antonidas animation with action is like what 2 seconds per fireball you really think he couldn't do that before rope burn come on please guys STFU you really desperate for a win hoping for time to run out just makes you sound sad, If anything when people concede just shows how salty they are.
