Priests are generally fun to play and CAN succeed if tryharded, but have at no point been OP and probably never will be. Thus they have WAY more of a right to exist than mages or hunters. Seriously, fuck mages.

Power Word: Shield on the pyromancer would've been better IMO. The Sylvanas steal would've been the same, and he would've had a Pyro alive. It probably wouldn't have changed much, but it might've tempted the mage to play a minion and fireball the doomsayer, which would've been good for kripp.

Well the power word shield would've kept him alive right? Then when kripp's turn ends he's got a pyro at 3/2 and a Doomsayer at 0-6. If the mage silenced then kripp would be still have a pyro alive on his turn.
