When Astral Automaton was first announced everyone was like, "Oh this card sucks, you have to invest so much into it to make it big", but Kibler saw the same potential I did: you can just slot it into Control Priest as one of your only early game minions, and use all of Priest's Resurrect/Copy tools to keep getting great value. It's not a "build around" card, it's an archetype support card that buffs Priest's unique strengths.

Okay to great early game into insane late game boards, only weak in priest mirrors (or spell generation) with an AOE silence. You're very right, most people put the card aside as "need to invest" rather than "what can develop around this"

ETC is actively bad with Creation Protocol Since Creation Protocol is a key card in the deck, I don't think the anti-synergy is worth the occasional upside

im 15 and 2 now it works I've played every thing in the meta so far once u figure out the gameplan vs the matchup it works out well.
