Trump probably do not read comments but i have just met 7 hunters out of 9 players. 6 out of 7 matches ended in wins for me, truly little clue how but the mage deck Trump showed off in the end of "Mage teachings" is what im using. Except i have two 'Unstable Ghoul' in the deck too. I did change around the cards a bit but mainly that deck he showed in the end, and im loving it. Is so close to golden mage and i hope this might speed things up a bit. Hunters have always been annoying to me, but its like they cant get going nowadays. Thank you Trump.

You know you want to put that Sunwalker in. Funny story. I was playing my demon value Warlock and had a Sylvanas on the field. My opponetnt, a Druid, plays a sunwalker. I then play my void terror, absorbing my Slyvanas and stealing his sunwalker. He then immediately left the game. Good times.

***** What do you mean? It's an exellent combo. Even if you only grab a 2 drop it's done a better job than one of the 2 mana 3 damage spells would do. It also works with other cards (cairne, Kel'thuzad etc.) so it's really not combo reliant.

I just pulled off the dirtiest trick with this deck. I had 4 minions on my board and it was turn 9. I was all like "hmm well played" and then he conceded right after that. I didn't even have combo XD. He had decent board control too, I think he had a good chance at winning but my jedi mind hack was too stronk.

Against aggro you don't need to lock up, you need to be in the higher position in the first place after their strong starts so catch up cards are better for that.

Aside Ragnaros, even if you don't have naxx cards right now, down the road you'll want at least Sludge Belcher, and optionally Shade of Naxx and Loatheb (I don't run those two in current decks though). Just do daily quests for a while and you can get the Naxxramas wings with gold, it's worth it.

I don't get why people bitch about the freezemage. In this meta filled with hunters the chance of meeting a freezemage is very little. I havent played a freezemage since forever, and havent played as one in weeks doe to the purest form for cancer that is hunter, destroying this meta and my dreams.. PS. Huck Funter

I think it's due to the gimmick of freeze mage: stall for nearly 15-20 minutes and hope for your OTK combo. Freeze mage is very passive given they have about 6 ways to essentially neutralize all gameplay for many turns (8 if you count a successful doomsayer play). It's as toxic as pre-nerf Pyro face mage was but you don't lose by turns 8-9. While Control Pally can be just as tiresome (as can some priest builds), it at leasts feels like the opposing player is actively playing and using their mana beyond "ping 1 dmg to player". Hunters are just a way of life now and GvG will probably slow some of that down, but I don't think their outright ever going to leave (versatility of a class nerfed so many times).

ageha4000 State of mages sadly. Freeze and Pyro nerfs killed most of their agression. I can't say that I miss Pre-Nerf Pyro Face mages who were even more toxic than Hunters at the start of the year. Sad that secrets mage lost steam really fast after Naxx, I'm thinking Mech Mage might become the new aggro.

The 8/8 tree can be used as a cheap replacement if you don't have the ancients. I wouldn't suggest building a ramp druid without any of the good endgame cards and legendaries though. You'll be better off with a standard minion druid deck.

Nathan Warren lol I have better winrate against priest since I started running aggro. At least that way you FORCE them to have answers and have them asap. That leads to sub-par plays. They can't heal much in first 5-6 turns as well (that would lose too much tempo) Control decks just gets stuck in fatigue wars, or killed by Faceless/Death combo or plain old MC. Or you could run Handlock to have free wins agains priests, but then Hunters would teabag your face off.
