It's not trivial at all. The difference between playing 4 and 5 minions with the same name is huge. i doubt quest rogue will see any play as soon as people realize how terrible the new quest is.

The first Patches deck i played against i used maelstrom portal. Suffice to say, they decked out when i managed to FINALLY get a voidwalker taunt to stop an obsidian dagger long enough to survive.

I had a blast whipping patches with Iceblock Mage, only lost to 3 patches all week, Patches warrior or Patches Priest straight up beat me on hero power but I only saw one of each, and the one hunter lucked into a flare as one of his 8 cards. I also crafted Forbidden Healing for extra LOLs.

I needed to finish Win 5 Tavern Brawls Quest and I just played Mind Blast with priest. Guaranteed turn 5 lethal assuming maximum 2 of your draws are the 8/30 random cards and the rest are the Mind Blasts. Generally people quit by the time you use the second one and set them at 20 hp. So it becomes turn 2 lethal each game technically.

Unstable Ghoul hunter is a surprisingly viable deck. The best part of this brawl is figuring out how to counter the people that still think winning on turn one is fun and interesting several days later.

hehe. But it doesn't actually suffice if you play it out against mind blast if you don't have silver hand recruits. 5 mind blasts 10 mana 25 dmg. If the priest waits for you to burn a few cards and then plays one mind blast per round you need to counter with a heal each time or he'll kill you. Also he can simply wait for fatigue and then kill you when you fatigue for 5

I found the brawl super fun, I also think that as is the case in normal hearthstone, warrior is the best pirate class. mostly because the mirror of patches v patches is easier to win if you gain armor. also patches mirror is super fun a lot of the time. Also armorsmith warrior is probably top tier. Because it beats like the majority of decks that aren't complete crap. any cheap minion deck loses to it. I am also surprised by the lack of freeze mages. I guess people think winning on turn one from conceed is better than winning on turn 4-5 when the opponent finally realizes that they are going to lose the game. And also hunter beats freeze mage and people are playing hunter too much.
