+asiantortoise That was funny. Won a ton with tempo Mage. Most fun though weirdly enough was Druid. Had a face hunter take me down to 8 life on turn 3 with two leper gnomes and that spell that triggers deathrattle, but killed him with double haunted creeper double savage roar.

In the last clip Deathwing would've won the game. Warlock draws 6 cards, so last two and 1+2+3+4 fatigue, putting him at 5. Then Kripp ends turn and warlock takes 5 fatigue.

I think the topic Kripp circled but failed to nail is that even in cancer brawls like the one we had you can have great fun if you play a deck that is only possible in that brawl. I ran an OTK priest with zombie chows dealing 10 dmg with Auchenai + Circle and getting the last 10 damage with Flash Heal or Mind Blasts (this deck is theoretically possible in constructed but not really). It actually did okay and I had great fun, even if I lost I was doing something fun, more fun that winning on ladder with a cancer deck for example. And of course nothing beats saying "Greetings" and then OTKing an enemy who thought they were winning the whole game. I tried DR shaman too, but while good it was dull. Sure I got lots of DR spawns but I can already do that in constructed more or less. I got tired of that deck after literally one game.

+Darth Mortus I tried the Auchenai Zombie chow deck in this and won the first game but after that I just had so many bad draws, couldn't handle all the deathrattles and 4 attack minions. I had games where I would have won if I had just gotten one more combo piece with fewer than 10 cards left in the deck. So I gave up and played feign death hunter; I'm such a scumbag :(

I had a ton of fun with Auchenai Chows too. Definitely plenty of enjoyment to be had playing weird decks that aren't realistically viable outside of specific brawls.

Brawl was a lot of fun this week. Having the Shaman daily, I just put all my deathrattle minions in it, reincarnation plus a bunch of silences. Worked like a charm.

Man, I've been preaching the deathrattle Shaman for as long as Naxx has been out but, sadly, I didn't even get the chance to try it this time. I was far too busy with my OTHER insane idea: negative health Priest. Get this: Auchenai Soulpriest + Zombie Chow + Zombie Chow + Circle of Healing. It's a really stupid combo but another of my insane plots for Legend. Made worse by Emperor T and Quick Heal. Constructed version is still a WIP.

I did Tavern Brawl as Shaman, used the revival spell on Mana Tide Totems. Once it was killed, two more Mana Tide Totems spawned. I won the game, the opponent had 21 cards in deck, I only had 8.

I love playing Reincarnate Shaman as it is, though usually a more late-game version, but I definitely determined for myself that playing with smaller deathrattle minions like Shredders and whatnot was better in this brawl, but the thought of a Mill deck definitely didn't occur to me. I really wish I had the chance to play this, because it looks super fun, even if unreliable. Maybe next time. :(

i was too busy playing feign death lepper gnome dream deck to play anything you just said.. turn 1 leper gnome coin leper gnome, turn 2 feign death + hit face for 12 turn 3 feign death + kill leper gnomes for 16 then arcane shot so much counter play potential.

I did the same thing with an Astral Communion deck, basically has a win rate of like 20%, but you need Innervate and Astral Comm at the same time in opening hand. BUT...if you have it, its like a point of no return for your opponent...lol

Not to be a dick but I chose shaman and won 6 out 8 games based on the simple ideas of 1 leper + ancestral = 12 dmg. Creepers, Eggs, Soooo many basic cards anyone could have made a decent winning deck... Not to mention most of the opponents I played did not grasp the idea of a max of 7 minions. They'd max out their board and id go kill off their creatures that would spawn more creatures.

I actually never even tried shaman in the brawl; literally everyone I ran into was playing it. On my EU account I needed paladin for a quest, so I did my 1 win on paladin, and on my main account I played my nofunallowed deck with priest and a bunch of silences and aoes. Two wins, that's all I played for. One of the more lame brawls imo.
