my first game I played a shaman, he went first and on turn 2 summoned the windfury bot and got dinosize on it, I played a 2 drop hoping to kill it and got the paladin card that doubles a minions attack, on the shamans bot. I died on turn 3

I donno if your "saving the small cards for later" is necessarily a better strategy... have minions on board means a chance of getting massive buffs. Getting tempo early is always better than hoping for a board clear when you are already losing right?
