In that first game he fireballed a 2/3 taunt rather than the thing that ended up at 7 attack and did almost all the face damage that game. 3:55 "in games like that, what can you do?" I dunno, maybe fireball the threat rather than a small taunt minion in the way of the threat?

And that's part of the reason he's better than you. He was giving himself the best chance to clear the board with a madder bomber on the following turn. What he understands is that playing well in a card game is about maximizing your odds over many repetitions, not the result of one instance.

Killing the 2/3 removed one madder bomber target, which slightly increased the odds of it hitting the trogg twice and killing it. Not that much, though, since his opponent had at least one turn between the fireball and bomber to play more stuff and it had to hit twice because he didn't have mana to ping. If he'd fireballed the trogg, his opponent would have a 2/3 on board and it wouldn't even matter if the bomber killed it, it's still only a 2/3. He also had a polymorph to deal with a big threat if one was played (which it was, a 7/7). It was a greedy play that relied on good RNG and it lost him the game. Even worse, if he HAD been lucky the net effect would've been to kill the 2/3 as well as the trogg, at the cost of taking an extra face hit from the trogg, which is OK but not exactly amazing and definitely not worth the risk.

Infinite Monkeys No, it quite dramatically increases the chance of killing it actually. The rest of the nonsense you wrote is irrelevant because you don't understand basic statistics. What you also don't seem to understand is that taking attack off of the board is less important than taking health off of the board. You win this game with board control. His only chance to retake the board was to hope his madder bomber got a clear, and he makes it more likely by taking health off of the board instead of attack. There's a reason a 4/5 is considerably better than a 5/4, and it's because the game is about board control and it's much easier to remove a minion with 1 less health. He has a win rate of something like 8+ wins for a reason, it's because he's better than you and understands the game better than you, and so do I.

The trogg did 21 face damage over the course of the game. If he fireballed it, it would've done 3 instead. If you don't think 18 extra damage is game losing then you're the one that doesn't understand basic maths.

For someone who is getting rekt by rng that often, Kripp sure says "How do you lose with this deck?" a lot. Just today I had an insane deck with cairne, black knight and a really good curve but I got my entire lategame in the opening hand against a rogue. There's no coming back from missing the first 3 drops if your opponent plays decently. I think that might have happened to at least some of Kripps opponents aswell.

That comment can still be true, some opponents in those 12 win runs likely had ridiculous decks, he just managed to out tempo/play them, or they got shit draw. And not all of his arena runs were 12-0, i think one or two of his losses in some of those matches were decks more ridiculous than his.

Well my first thought is on turn 4 you fireballed one of the spirit doggies instead of the trogg that had a much higher ceiling for damage, the turn after whoops new target to use the polymorph on and you were proper fucked at that point. Now rewind and fireball the trogg, then poly the 7/7 you'll only have a 2 attack minion smacking you in the face from then on out until it's buffed to 3.

It's sniping i guess, but I don't stream and often get rolled over by this kind of decks as well. These games usually happen at low wins, like 2-0, 3-1 etc. Idk why, that's just the way it works for me. At high wins I encounter good decks but not completely insane ones. There was just 1 unbeatable hunter deck I've faced, with 4x Highmane and 2x Krush at 11-0. That's a good place for this kind of deck to be.

In the first match at 2:23 I think the right play was to fireball the 3 attack minion that could potentially grow bigger, the 2 damage wasn't a threat at the time, and you had no creature to kill the trogg even after you got rid of the taunt. So I just though that was the worst play, next to fire ball face, or fire balling your own face.

+Matt Silverman The only way you are going to win against an opener like that is to get lucky and to maximize your odds of doing so. Setting up the Madder Bomber is the best way to do that. If the opponent only played one minion the next turn after the fireball and Kripp Madder Bombered and killed the trogg, it would have been praised as a good play.

+Vitor Or maybe their deck has a good curve and they have 6+ possible good cards to draw for turn 3. You never know what the odds are to draw a good play without knowing their deck. You also don't know if they already had an almost nearly as good play for turn 3 already in their hand and just chose to use the one they drew because it's a bit better. What's really pathetic about Kripp's attitude though is he gets just as lucky just as often as his opponents, because luck breaks even in the long run. But he almost never mentions it when he's super lucky, or when he top decks the perfect card. But when his opponents do he never stops whining about it.
