I feel like Cabalist's Tome is another one of those "this card will be in every single deck if something that's really good in the next expansion/adventure pops up". It's *just* right on the edge now I think. And of course, in Arena, this card is a must pick. May not be the deciding factor in those games, but can probably pull through in a pinch if needed.

An important detail I feel you missed: Discover always presents 3 distinct options. The Tome can give you doubles.This exacerbates the point you make about conjurer giving you the opportunity to take the best option, as the tome may give you 2 (maybe 3?) sub par cards. Nothing worse than 2 arcane intellects in a fatigue situation.

the comparison with conjurer is ok, but he could mention that the tome can give you repeated spells while the discover mechanic does never reveal the same card more than once at the same time it triggers.

You can discover multiples of the same card. I once got 3 force of nature out of raven idol discover to choose from. I guess it's just rare for that to happen.

Cabalist Tome can also give you double or triple of the same spell. So you can get three fireballs if you are really lucky. That's an important thing to note.

I got my first 12 win in arena with a fatigue mage deck, with one nova and double doomsayer as well as a ton of board clears and one cab time. I also had a shitton of healing through tournament medic, that apothecary guy and one of those tuskarrs that heal both.

Kripp for the last time. The word Hearthstone is because of the word Hearth and stone. It's a stone that returns you to your home (in the game, the tavern > hearthstone) to your HEARTH. it's pronounced 'hɑːθ' not 'hɜːt'. so that makes it HEARTH-stone not HURT-stone.

Yesterday I got 3 Shatters in an arena game. 1 in 21,000 chance. Completely worthless. Just sat in my hand, but I somehow scraped a close win. Then in the next match I was close to death and got a Cabalist's tomb, into Tomb, into Tomb for the win! This card is nuts!

This gets extra value if played with a flamewaker on the board. I prefer it to a 6/3 but a lot of the time the 6/3 saves the flamewaker from being targetted without a mana dump.

I had an interesting idea for a deck theme. Currently you are limited to 3 cards or choose 1 or completely random, but what if you could call any card (as long as it was part of the theme) by drawing its code with mouse or touch screen. So for example you draw on the screen the spell shape to call a minion (like a triangle), and square for another type, or pentagon for this creature. This would add an interesting twist to the game would it not?

Problem is after spending 5 mana you typically have these 3+ mana Mage spells. If it gave spells of any class there are dozens of 1-3 mana spells that would make the card broken as hell. It's still one of my favorite late-end game Hail Mary cards though.
