Edmund Tan I tried that a little while ago, but there weren't enough Tidecaller decks to make it good. I've found that Forbidden Shaping beats everything except Tidecallers, unless you get some really lucky spawns.

I was able to beat every single tidecaller deck with explosive sheep. Try it yourself but play smart. i played this one game where he didn't play any murlocs after turn 3, but on turn 10 he played 7 tidecallers. when this happens, you have to be able to kill one of your explosive sheep. I used bane of doom with warlock, but mage hero power is much safer.

Not mulligan, but there was a brawl where you would draw the perfect mana curve. On turn one you draw a 1 mana card (that you put in), turn 2 you draw a 2 mana card and so on

There was a brawl where each turn you get a card from your deck that costs the exact amount of mana you have, so you can play the perfect curve. Best deck: Druid 1 card on Turn 1: Sir Finley Mrrgglton (try to get Warlock Hero power to draft cards) 1 card on Turn 2: Wrath (to remove any minions played) 1 card on Turn 3: Acolyte of Pain (to draft cards on turn 4) 1 card on turn 4: Astral Communion (you got 10mana) And get a bunch of high mana cards/legendaries. Was a really fun deck/brawl to play.

I just queue'd into my first Brawl game this week playing this deck vs. a Shaman. We both kept everything at the start and I went first, leading off with a tidecaller. Within 3 seconds of playing the tidecaller the opponent conceded... Fastest Brawl game I've ever had.

I had a ton of fun running Shammy with Thing From Below. It's hardly foolproof (it loses to Mindblast) but between turn 5-7 depending on Rngesus, you can drop an entire wall of 5/5 taunts. The "Incredible!"s I got spammed made it worth it to me.

The first deck I played against was tidecaller. Then second game was buccaneer. So I was like "ok, you wanna play like that?" The problem with a hungry crab deck is that you need most people to be smart enough to realize Tidehunter is the best aggro option yet stupid enough to not realize other even smarter people will counter it. Also I played Explosive Trap hunter some. Always wins the murloc deck but is also better against the trash that beats hungry crab

I found renounce darkness to be quite fun although it's not a high winrate deck. Same reason I dont play zoolock and aggro shaman in ladder - and probably why I never get higher than rank 15

Everyone was playing Grimscale Oracle (for some reason, instead of Tidehunter) when I was playing earlier this morning, so I just played rogue and killed the murlocs with my weapon, and then Burgled the hell out of them and beat them with their class cards. 100% winrate with that strategy. That wouldn't work against Tidehunter, of course, since it doesn't die to a single weapon strike, but there are plenty of other non-cancerous ways to beat that garbage. And it feel so good to do so. ;)

The Mechwarper deck isn't as bad as suggested against Tidecaller though. Played multiple matches with warper-mage and beat tidecallers too. Trick is to start playing them as soon as you can to keep the max strength they can be in check. Then hit the 1 or 2-attacks if you have the time for cashing in value.

I did this tavern brawl with Paladin and A Light in the Darkness. You get buffed minions, and your normal class cards are for example sword of justice which can buff your minion another time. I did lose to Mind blast I believe, don't remember.

Selfless hero deck isn't too bad, I was able to get a solid amount of wins with it. The most fun I had though was having 22 evolves.

The one deck I found which completely shuts down the murloc deck is Selfless Hero. Anything else seems to be just bad luck with drawing your class cards. Rock-paper-scissors Murloc-Selfless-Mind blast
