When you swipe up from bottom, and go back home, or hold the swipe and goto background apps, you can still find your Hearthstone app still open in the background, so as long as you go back into the app, you wont disconnect from your game, or whatnot... and over time you’ll get use to knowing how to play cards without triggering any swiping actions.. just takes a little getting use to coming from an older model device.. but not a real biggie or anything..

I have had the ipad issue he is talking about. And my iPad has a button. It was an issue with the app, and blizzard has fixed it. It’s not caused by accidentally closing the app, even though it can feel that way.
