Ðraconas I don't know if it's my luck but I've seen a lot less mages recently compared to ~ half a year ago. Rogues seems to be more favourable since then, they're really strong too.

***** Yeah i've seen a few priests hit the higher win rates, I think it's due to how much players refuse to trade now. Priests can punish greed really well, as can Paladins and mages.

Heh I just went 9-3 with mage, all three losses were against priests. I couldn't do anything as I didn't have the firepower in the deck to just spam the board. It was mostly spells and a few big ones who just ended up getting mind controlled. And it feels seriously horrible to get a water elemental shadow word pained. Most of the priests seem to have become smart enough to wait until turn four before using that :S

Mad Hatters in jeans if a priest is punishing your "greed", you don't know what you're doing. Priests are the greediest players in the game. They'll let the go unokcontested for at least 4 rounds every game, And 99% of the time, at least 2 of those rounds are turn 1 and 2.

Mr. GoodSire Wtf no Flamestrikes? That probably means 4 Piloted Shredders/Water Elementals a good Legendary, a lot of quality 2 drops and a lot of draw. Flamestrike is THAT good.

Amazing, very clever set of games by Trump. The result came slightly out of the blue for me: at first, this deck didn't seem like one of those ridiculous killer decks Trump has had (including the Shaman Dream Draft 12-0), but it turned out to be extremely powerful. I suppose you don't need many spells for a good deck. You can outrun your enemies with many good creatures.

21:00 Trump is SO lucky the opponent did that bad move... if he had done dagger -> dagger breaks shield -> cannon kills the minibot, then trump would have had a 4/3 against a board of 2x 2/1s and a 1/1 dagger. That would have left Trump in trouble, especially if the opponent had a 2 drop to go with that. 23:50 And Trump agrees, it seems.

I hope you learned your previous mistakes from this run. The new meta forces you to have a few 1 drops so you can get an advantage early, and snowball from there. You need to start drafting less value and more tempo, as this run demonstrates. Sure there was some fun value from cult master and divine shields, and there should be some, but the initial tempo lead takes precedence.

12:40 is so incredibly greedy. Just trade 4/4s or send 4/5 and then put whirling blades on the 2/2 and you can't possibly lose. Very big misplay.

Again, trump is prioritizing value over tempo and board control, and what's sad is...he didn't even have a consecrate. The first game he could've avenged and bluegilled much earlier and won back what control, value, and tempo he lost. Instead, he refused to put out a minion that would get killed, allowing the opponents lead to snowball.

Brian Kim A 1 cost 2/3 is amazing for board control. In hearthstone, you have to remember that health is just another resource. It is true that you win the game by reducing your opponents health to 0, but one of the most important steps in doing that, is taking board control and holding it. Zombie chow out-trades out trades all 1 drops and trades evenly with a lot of 2 drops. 2 for 1 is expected when you play it. that is worth giving your opponent 5 health.

chow is great early, but if you draw it turn 4 or later it's terrible as it just replaces a better card that could be played. (and sometimes brings your opponent back from the brink of death) I don't like situational cards in arena.

But it is usually, and a card is only good if it is either good consistently (zombie chow) or a huge swing when it is good (BGH or MCT)

bongoman1 Blood Imp is a passable pick in arena. Even if you don't play it turn 1, you can play it later since it's a cheap card to play. Giving a minion +1 health can be quite significant, and many classes have a very hard time taking it out, so you might have the imp give loads of extra health buffs before it goes down. The trouble with the card, is even though it is easy to play later, it's a really bad top-deck and could very well lose you the game by being your only play, particularly on turn 4 or 5. Also, arena has a lot of random damage thrown around, so you could often see your blood imps dying to mad bombers or Wild Pyromancers.
