Jack Ashworth I mean, it definitely helped. It's not perfectly balanced, and no game ever is, but there is still certainly a bias towards Mage- and there will be unless they remove either a ton of class cards, or just Flamestrike.

I dont think that's necessarily a good thing LMAO.. This can be seen by the fact that during that match, the mage with 5 firelands was also at 2 losses.. I've had 12/0 recently with a mage deck that had only 1 firelands.. I think 1/2 is the perfect amount of firelands to have.

One of many reasons I love watching Trump: that 5th Firelands Portal was fucking ridiculous, but his salt was so tame. It's no surprise that mage is the most played class, it's the class everyone starts with and therefor have the most experience with. Even if mage was the worst in arena i would never expect it to be the least played class.

They recently tried to balence arena a little, but mage mage have 3 big advantages 1) a hero power who deal damage and pass taunts 2) powerfull spell who can clear board/remove big minions and finish games 3) most of these spells are common card so pretty easy to draft

At 21:30 Trump should play the Kobold. The Mage has already burned a lot of removal and it sets up lethal with Silvermoon + Fireball + Ping. He nearly threw the game away not doing that. If you have a chance to set up lethal that isn't easily punishable, you should almost always do it.

I'm sorry Trump, but that first game is totally on you. When deciding between fireballing the stone or fireballing the thing that comes out of the stone, either way, you're using fireball, so why not just kill the problem at its roots?

sethredxiii Morrison Hehe, turn 7 Mage is pretty scary, but even just the hero power with a solid deck makes Mage strong. Just went 10-2 with a draft with only Flame Lance, Goblin Blastmage and Pyroblast as class cards. Two of the losses might have been winnable with different play too. And to think I picked Mage because I had the class card mission open haha. 3 Mechwarpers, felt like tavern brawl from a week or two ago at times!
