That first game was such a joke: Time and time again, I see people using high value cards like Swipe to remove 1-2 creatures that don't even add up to the cost of swipe. Trump was eating cookies, sitting back, and waiting for the Druid to stop wasting his time. I hope people will L2P: It's much more fun when each player does their best to react to their opponent efficiently.

Youre matched with people with same arena rank. That means that if you went 11-0 you would be playing the best players in hearthstone. Previous rank does not matter

The only thing it depends on is how much you've won in the arena so far, if you're currently at 0-0 You will go against another fella with 0 wins & zero loses as far as i know, you can go against Trump, yes

I'll throw an interesting imo idea here: rogue's hero ability throws dagger (or shuriken, or snowball) for 1 damage if any weapon is currently equipped. Rogue seems underpowered right now.

ginjaninja114 When playing rogue you need to facecheck almost everything opponent is placing on the board just like warriors and druids but you don't have ways to obtain any armor.

The Rogue's hero ability is (IMO) the best hero ability in Hearthstone: 2 mana for a 1/2 weapon is much more cost efficient than 2 mana for 1 damage anywhere, or 2 mana for 1 hero attack *THIS TURN* and 1 armor. The Warlock's hero ability is also excellent, as is the paladin one due to it being consistent. The Shaman hero ability is diverse and useful, but too inconsistent to rely on. Nevertheless, dealing 2 damage over 2 turns for 2 mana to either minions or the hero is superb. The only reason why each class is "balanced" is due to class-specific cards like Deadly Shot that make classes like Hunter viable. As Trump has said, dealing 2 damage to the hero no matter what's on the field is useless in terms of board control, which usually outweighs damage done to the hero. Thus, due to its flexibility, efficiency, and potential combo with Deadly Poison, the Rogue's hero ability is da bestest ever. =D

Trump undervalues taunt way too much, and tunnel visions way too much sometimes, for example, being easily able to kill the silvermoon guardian with dagger + poison in game 7, he instead lets it hit him for 7, and then takes 7 to kill it instead of DOING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

I'm concerned your metric for evaluating the worth of the card (as you've argued here) is to imagine he always has an extra card, Defender of Argus, in his hand, and then find a point in the game where you can say, "Look! It would have been useful on this turn!", while ignoring possibility for any subsequent response from opponent's hand, since giving taunt doesn't have instant effect, but allows the opponent a chance to respond to it as he chooses from board, hand, power. Wisp is an amazing card if you don't actually have to have it in your deck to play it whenever you want.

You really overvalue "value" sometimes. You play around the ooze on your second loss by attacking creatures from behind instead of face. You were obviously dead doing that anyway. Should look at those plays a bit harder
