For the DK fight regarding corpse explosion, because the health was staggered there is no number of corpses that would completely remove your board. I think at best they could have gotten you down to 2 ghouls at once, but they'd each be at one health and have a bunch of deathrattles to summon more ghouls.

Correct. They literally just keep coming unless you don't leave any bodies left on-board to receive the deathrattle.

That's wrong. Which minion gets the Ghoul deathrattle is random, so it's possible that they first concentrate on two or three minions, and then coalesce on one, and when that dies it summons another full board, but when those die, nothing else summons. It's very unlikely, but as with all very unlikely events, a high enough number of explosions would make it a certainty.

@@wanderer5438 Thank you for proving my point. Unless there are zero bodies on board to receive the deathrattle, they will keep coming back. It's not impossible, but extremely unlikely, and you would need a very high number of corpses to attain this unlikely outcome.

If I were that DK I'd just be more interested in watching the corpse/ghoul explosion than in winning. Just the fun of watching that ridiculousness happen was worth it.

@@maciejkolorowy3340 Honestly, I don't think anything short of starfish would've saved him. It's very likely even with a hundred corpses Kibler would still have a board of Ghouls that summoned more Ghouls on death just from how staggered they were.

You out did yourself on this one Kibler! I was just thinking back to a deck pre DK I made that was like this and was having good luck winning with it.I know you had made one that is partially in this one at the same time. What made me think about is your buddy Regiskillbin just made a video on cards that were killed by new ones. With peddler and concentrated grave on that list. I was thinking that'd be cool if that old deck would work. Low and behold I tune in today on my lunch per usually and look what you created...a masterpiece! I can't wait to go home and try it. Lock is my least favorite deck in Hearthstone...I don't like the hurting self for pay off...just not fun for me. That and curses...which doesn't take skill to play.(imo) You created the exact type of Lock deck I will enjoy playing. An anti aggro greedy deck that uses flactory not to otk people face.(though in the end it technically does 😉) Thanks for this deck and the content!

Infectious Ghoul is so incredibly tilting. I put silence effects in my decks just because of the deathrattles that are in game right now. I find it incredibly toxic for gameplay, but maybe I'm just a hater. *shrugs shoulders*

I don't really understand the "hate" for Construct Quarter. DK as a whole was underperforming until this mini-set (ironically, with aggro frost being a tier1 deck and the only thing keeping the class afloat), so now that DK got a card that can fit nearly every archetype and be a solid stepping stone to dredging the class up, everyone wants it shot down. On the subject of nerfing it, I would consider not raising its cost or reducing its durability, but for example turning the summoned construct itself from a 4/5 rush to for example, a 4/5 taunt, or a 4/4 or even 4/3 rush - still having it serve as instant, quick, powerful, efficient "board removal" but not having the body stick around too long after, by reducing its health.

The only version of DK that wasn't doing great was Blood and even then it wasnt doing that bad. Both Unholy aggro and Frost were doing just fine.

@@basvanderwerff2725 HSReplay data putting DK as an aggregate class in the low 40% winrate, with the outlier being frost spell aggro deck at 60%+. The class as a whole was not performing, besides the 1 deck.

The thing it summons is the same thing from another card (they do this a lot) so changing what it summons would involve having to create a new card as well as updating the existing card, which they rarely do for balance patches.
