13:30 Question regarding how Brann works with Forbidden Ancient... Isn't Brann just triggering the battle cry twice? So I play Brann at turn 6, I have 3 mana left. I play Forbidden Ancient for 1, I have 2 mana left. The battle cry triggers once for 2 mana, making Forbidden Ancient a 3/3. The battle cry triggers a second time, spending 0 mana and gaining 0 stats. Are you sure that it becomes a 5/5? It seems counter-intuitive to me. I do not think the double battlecries occur simultaneously. For example, if you Brann + MC Tech when opponent has 4 minions on board, you will only steal one minion, because the double battlecries happen after each other, not simultaneously.

Control hunter won't be a thing yet, not enough draws, heals, and good board clear (dreadscale acidmaw 10 mana clear is bad)

The first thing I did after I got online with this expansion was to do a "Steward of Darkness" deck with two Magma Ragers and two of the 4-1 boars. I got nine humiliating losses and two glorious wins. Worth it!

The card "on the hunt" can be useful for a turn 6 on the hunt and the 5 drop that summons a random beast if there is a beast on the board.

I think Malkorok is quite good for control warriors. You just run it with 2 waraxes and 1 gorehowl. Playing a threat AND more removal is really nice.

The Bilefin is actually pretty decent in the new Zoo, its not always in there but the taunt works as a handy protection for jugglers and darkshire councilmen and being a 2 unit in 1 is also good for darkshire and juggler. Also decent in the current agro pally

Evolve would be a waste. I would say a turn 10 Mistcaller + Master of Evolution would work fine, though. Maybe a little late for Mistcaller to be worth it, but still ok.

Forbidden Ancient doesn't actually work with bran ... I got to try this out in an Arena match :)) got brann from scarab and i played it on turn 7 i think, so brann(3) + dude(1) --> dude should have been an 8/8 ... well it wasn't ... apparently you spend you remaining mana twice and get stats off of that so first time i had 3 extra crystals but the second time the battlecry activated i was already on 0 mana so it added 0 stats ... :| sad but true. Sorry Amaz, the dream has been destroyed :))

Counter to Ragnaros the Lightlord. (if you are face hunter or any aggro ) same counter for lightwell just deal 1 dmg to it and there is a chance for it to heal rag not your hero.

+Dymm Slayer That only works for lightwell because it just sits there and doesn't deal damage. It's a lot harder if you have to spend a 1/1 every turn and still have to deal with an 8/7 on top of that, while also burning through the 8 health they just gained. Also, if you throw in a 1/1, your opponent will probably kill your 3 or 4 attack creatures, in which case the heal on rag is actually quite good because they ate your misha for free and you have to deal with rag again.

diokos a Ever since Blizzard added a minion that creates an 8 health swing every turn. I never said anything about hunters clearing board. I said that you can't counter light Rag with just a 1/1 like you can lightwell. You have to either burst hard enough to burn through the 8 heal, or you have to deal with the 8/8. Otherwise, if you throw away minions every turn for a ~50/50 to prevent 8 health gain, it's really hard to win.

Why compare Varian Wrynn to Y'Shaarj? Just because they are legendaries with high mana costs that can summon minions from the deck? The big difference is that Y'Shaarj can ALWAYS summon a minion if you have any left, and sometimes Varian Wrynn lets you draw but summons jack shit once in a while. I dunno, I kind of feel like Y'Shaarj is a little underrated, but time will tell. 10 mana cards are always a gamble.

I think you underestimate On the hunt. Being a beasthas some cool interactions with hound master and Kill Comand. And Ram Rangler to a lesser extent, because no one actually plays that card. But still, being able to ping somethingf or 1 damage and kill comand for 5 for 4 mana is pretty cool. Is not an AMAZING card like Nox said it is, buti t's not a terrible card like you said it is.

y'shaarj is constantly being rated unfairly "but varian wrynn isn't being played so ehhhhhhhh" 1. 6 extra total stats by itself 2. this is neutral so much chance to abuse it in stuff like ramp druid it's still subpar, but it's better than varian wrynn, you can get a much larger pool of cards to choose from, this allows you to play spells without wasting ten mana and it's a bigger body.

Doomcaller is AT LEAST 3 stars wtf, new meta has meant you MUST play control, or you WILL lose over 80% of the time. Having the C-thun a 2nd time in control v control is crucial, if you want to come out on top. Have not lost in over 20 games as full arm warrior, and evolve c'thun shaman. If you dont play doomcaller, you will regret it when both decks get milled to no cards, but your opponent has 2nd cthun as his last card... (although double doomcallers is dog shit, never do that)

okay... so you give c'thun 4 stars but emperor 5? What the hell amaz? you're soooo inconsistent with your rating system! At the start of the video you said "5 stars are your auto include in every deck-ish" or something along those lines, but emperor is actually pretty niche, as you can only play him in a c'thun deck, which makes it at most a 4-star. Emperor is probably better than C'thun it self actually, so that makes C'thun a 3-star. Or am i getting this wrong?

Why wouldIplay fobidden flame if a 5 mana deal 8 to a minion saw no play? Why wouldI play forbidden flame if for 1 mana Ican deal 2 damage to a minion and scale it very well with spell power from cards like cult mage and azure drake? Why wouldI play forbidden flame when I can use cards like fireball, ice bolt, forgotten torch etc as both removal and burn to the face? The answer is: I won't. Forbidden flame fucking sucks. You're forbidden from playing it.
