It's kinda like how Secret Hitler is a thing. It's a way to make light of darkness. But that's if you want to put Hearthstone in Warcraft lore. In reality, the harshness of Warcraft's lore doesn't fit a lighthearted card game.

Are kidding me... Do you guys see in the trailer? 0:21 It shows a Kobold/ 0:30 A frog in a swamp/ 0:35 two knights in what seams as the Warcraft City with Wearwolfs. They either got their inspiration for "kobolds and catacombs" and Witchwood expansions from here, or they knew from then they were going to make something themed on this idea. Now in the new expansion The Fortune Teller reapers, and she summons first King kobold then Hagatha the witch in that order, nice synchronization from blizzard :)... see the connection... :)
