The problem was not because you can't add it on wild .. The problem was yogg winning the game when it was lost . Just seach a clip of on a web, it was a big final ou a semi final of a big lan. Guy is losing all game (druid vs warlock) the game was 2-2 the winner was going to pass. The druid plays yog , yog clears the board and spawns a full board with 2/2 and 1/1 minions with deathrattle summon a 2/2. Now picture that , you play a perfect game to get rekt by a turn 10 yog .. Blizzard said "We wanted yogg to be a fun card to play but never to be played in every deck in every turnm." People were playing yogg even on Priest and Hunter just because a good yog would give you the game , a bad yog would draw you cards.

I think you got yogg entirely wrong, a good yog would give you the game but a bad yogg would just kill you or waste your turn. He was far from guaranteed value. From my experience playing yogg was far more likely to be a mediocre or at least decent 10 drop value wise. I think people who complain about yogg should have gone and played a deck with him in it, because they would realize that one time they lost to yogg after playing a "perfect" game was a very very small percentage of the time yogg was played. If they really wanted to nerf a card that can be used to instantly turn a loosing game into a winning game they should have nerfed call of the wild more. I still don't see a single hunter deck that doesn't run that card. They said they wanted yogg to be a fun card and it was, but how is playing a card that instantly kills itself most of the time and wastes 10 mana while doing it fun?

Every since Yogg nerf ladder has been boring as hell. It might have been unfair in tournaments, but at least it made the grind entertaining.

Agreed. I crafted him pretty early before I'd heard of his performance in tournaments. Nothing bloody funnier than watching spells fly left and right, and Kara gave me excuses to make even more decks with him. Will he kill my opponent from 20 health, or just make me overdraw into massive fatigue? Never know! Still, I never used him for my 'serious' decks, which is why the nerf caught me off-guard. I was already removing him from decks when they announced they were going to change him. Goodbye Yogg; wish they'd just let you go to Wild as-is.

For some people that's fun. Others, like myself hated the card from the beginning. Nothing as frustrating as when you play the game perfectly and your opponent wins because of pure RNG from a position where it usually would be impossible to come back from. Just my opinion

Spurs vG Nothing wrong with that, and it is a commonly shared opinion. Frankly, I'm amazed that people who like him and despise him are as civil as they are about it. The RNG element of Yogg has always been a sore spot, but at the end of the day he was a 10 mana card, so you did kind of expect major things from him (especially when the alternatives can bring in numerous free minions or theoretically end the game just by being summoned). For 10 mana, if he didn't perform at least as well as Deathwing, I'd have a problem. That being said, compared to having to play C'Thun's cultists or sub-par deathrattle minions like Infested Tauren, Yogg was easier to activate. Someone had an amazing suggestion to solve the problem though: just mark him as a Wild-only card a year early so that those who want to play standard don't have to face him and those who wanted to use him in his full glory could. I'd've taken it over this 10-mana 10% chance to do nothing shpiel.

Inferno Spire if u notice he didn't have anymore cards in the deck and he had board presence and answers in hand, so all he had to deal is with the cards in his hand and once he's out he just pounds away with 5/5 taunters and his own yogg since he's out of fuel. But 25 to face is something that can stop that plan, :P

For all the Yogg-haters, if you want to remove every card that could win a losing game, you'd also have to hard-nerf most 6+ cost mage spells, Twisting Nether, Doom, Ice Block, Antonidas, Priest and Warrior quest, almost all DKs, Doomsayer, Call of the Wild and Dragoncaller Alanna. Notice that quite a few of the cards I just quoted are not even played, and when they are, in decks built around them. If Blizz wanted to nerf Yogg, they should have made it "Battlecry - if your deck contains no minions, cast a random spell for each spell you cast this game" instead of just deleting the card from the game.
