Heartland Kart Series @ Shimek Speedway 5/11/13

There were over 100 Karts in the pits at Shimek Speedway, Farmington IA, on Saturday May 11th to compete in the first event of the season for the Heartland Kart Series. Several classes provided a great afternoon of racing. Shimek Speedway is located 3 miles east of Farmington, IA on HWY. 2 Racing every Saturday Night April thru September. Races start at 7pm and Spectators get in FREE. Racing from all ages 5 years and up in 9 different classes.
