Everyone thinks it is ok for Ty to go to Mongolia. I think it is the wrong thing to do. He will miss every part of his and Amy baby that should be done together. Yes I can see the need for someone to go to Mongolia but not a married man with a wife that is pregnant. This is for someone that is not married or married that does not have or expect to have any babies. You tell me where his loyalty lies. It must be everything else and wife second. Amy did not want him to go but she would support him. It is time for Ty to stand up and be a husband and father first and quit taking off on Amy all the time. If Ty does not want to be on heartland anymore they need to write him and kill him off. My deserves better!!!!

David i agree for the most part but I question where his extraordinary level of commitment has gone. Throughout the series that commitment has carried the relationship through every thing they've endured. Suddenly, both on screen and seemingly off screen it has gone missing. As I understand it he was at about that time going through a serious process in his personal life but since then his absences have approached excessive. Maybe its the rather lame excuses offered for many of them but if he's simply chasing dreams he should remember this series has made it possible for him to even consider pursuing them. I'm not ready to see him eliminated as I see his character central to both Amy and Jacks story lines.
