Christopher Hightower was a killer conman who masqueraded as a church leader and duped people out of thousands of dollars. In 1991, the commodities trader slaughtered a family of three after his friend Ernest Brendel lodged a complaint against him.

As far as I'm conserned, if someone is capable of murdering three people, one of whom being a child they've buried alive, they don't qualify as human. That poor family.

Godzilla and King Kong come from monster island so does Mothra there’s a Lotta other monsters that come from that island. The coward that did this to this family is called evil wicked according to the Lord‘s word . He killed a child and according to God‘s word that’s the worst thing you can do and God‘s wrath is going to come down on him on judgment day

clearly, you dont get how traumatic it can be to find out the very basics of your identity, origins was a lie, not to mention having those closest to you and that were the ones to teach you about the world were the ones who lied to you. Not only is it traumatic, it screws with one's sense of what is real, what is right or wrong, what can be trusted... It doesnt excuse his actions nor explains them, more often than not, these types are already born with some brain differences or genetic predisposition and they meet a perfect storm but this is definitely one of the many factors building up that storm and your dismissal of the seriousness of this type of thing is not only ignorant, but also dangerous and hurtful. Dangerous, because it fails to learn from these events and to realize, as a society that the bastard label and the srigma are idiotic and problematic things and that the group's acceptance and parents not lying like that to their children is something to aspire to. Not addressing these social issues favors that we spaen more of them. Hurtful, because a lot of people who suffered similar trauma cone to these contents and the feeling of having these trauama being invalidaded hurts them further. And this adds up, maybe making someone self harm, commit suicide or become homicidal. It is not a coincidence that this same event happened in the lives of more than one psychopathic killer. It does have a significant impact

@Clarry no, she's being insightful like most people who are criminologist or just have an interest in true crime. It's never about excusing them, it's about trying to figure out why they act the way they do, and it's shocking how many of the worlds most evil killers have been lied to about their parents or whatever in childhood, it's mystery why it sticks with them and is traumatic, when many others can move on and live with it. It's the same with abuse, most killers have an abusive past where they are the victim, but many unfortunately suffer abuse and they don't turn out that way, so that's where Denise thought process comes in, it's not about excusing, it's about find out why for many reasons, but one of the main is to prevent similar actions in the future

This woman ‘expert’ is a quack. She never contributes anything to these episodes, just blathers about ‘narcissism’ and ‘he’s a psychopath’. It’s downright disrespectful to the victims. She characterizes every single one of these murderers in precisely the same way and has no insight into any of these cases. I wish they’d get rid of her and just rely on the personal testimony of those directly involved RIP to this beautiful family
