Ross Caldwell scored a last-minute winner as Hibernian came from behind to beat Hearts 2-1 in the Edinburgh derby at Tynecastle. Darren Barr's scrambled opener gave the hosts a half time lead but Leigh Griffiths scored a stunning free kick just after the interval before Caldwell's late strike won it for Pat Fenlon's men.

Hibs are my Scottish team mate but I have respect for hearts. A great old instituiton with players like Alfie Conn, Willlie bauld, Dave mackay and the underrated Alex Young all among the best seen in Scotland. Its a shame to see the state of the club due to mismanagement. I think we probably both agree that football is for fun. Depite all the talk to the contrary its not a matter of life and death. Its a sport and its nice to be able to chat amicably. Cheers mate.

It is perfectly possible for Hibs to become more successful. It all depends on the ownership and debt situations at both clubs. Chelsea have more fans thatn Liverpool....who'd have thought that 10 years ago. In modern football anything is possible. Its all about money and ownership. Sad but true.

The gap is not that big mate. Sociual media is a great way to measure club size. On facebook Hearts lead 20,768 to 18,707. On Twitter its 17,080 to 15,209. Basically for every 9 Hibs fans on social media there are 10 Hearts. Not a huge gap at all though Hearts are marginally the bigger club.

There are older fans mate but all clubs have older fans. Hibs will have Famous 5 and Tornadoes fans just ass Hearts will have Terrible trio and recent cup fans. Marketeers closely follow FB and twitter because they're a very accurate indication. Generally when referring to how "big" a club is we refer to fanbase. I'm not being a "yah boo sucks" arguer mate. I'm just pointing to objective reality as seen in FB, Twitter, attendances historically...Hearts are a marginally bigger club than Hibs.
