For "arent Charlie's parents noticing he isnt eating ?", it's said a couple of times in this episode that Charlie avoids eating at the same time as them and that they havent had a family dinner in a while. His mom notices he isnt eating that night, but they havent noticed the repetition of this situation

Great reaction! Fun fact: in the book, Nick has the emotional conversation about Charlie with his mother. But because Olivia Colman couldn’t be here for it, the show switched it to his aunt.

As much I miss Olivia this season and would’ve loved to see her give Nick that talk, I feel it makes more sense to have it come from his aunt who’s a psychiatrist and has an outside perspective

Maybe you missed, it but when Darcy's Gran suggested a poster of a boy and Darcy said "I'm a lesbian", Gran replied, "Oh, your dad didn't tell me", so it seems like all Gran knew is that Darcy's mother threw her out.

Great reaction and both Joe and Kit killed me with their pain, a testament how they've both come so far as actors. That scene with Nicks Aunt had me blubbering. Also, I had to laugh when you said their dad not using flavours was a white stereotype given their dad is Spanish. 🤣

Charlie, Tao and Isaac are one year below the others. They will take those exams next year. Charlie was just collecting Nick's results. (BTW 4 is a bare pass - 9 is the highest possible. Tara got 9 in every subject!!!)

episode 2 Charlie slips into a depression because he doesn't feel fully safe at home and nicks gone and nick is the only one who knows what's going on. As someone who has multiple mental health disorders I find charlies mom infuriating.

yeah. I know she cares about him, but she also sucks as a parent. her reactions to everything are completely the opposite of what you want to do if you want your child to trust you.
