Mr. Farouk is constantly on the brink of throwing hands with a random 16 year old and I'm living for it 😂😂 Nick and Charlie not holding hands in the morning is a very meaningful moment imo, it shows that while Nick is more and more open and confident, reaching out to Charlie, Charlie is drawing back, stressed and afraid of what might happen to Nick :(

Right? It’s so funny 😭😭😭 Mr. Farouk truly became one of my favorite characters this season. Everyone is so well written I often forget I’m watching a show! And that is a beautiful point. I’m so happy seeing our boys happy. Season 3 is going to be a wild ride. I hope they end up being okay 😭

At this point Charlie is way more stressed out about Nick coming out than Nick himself.

Awww, he just really wants to protect him and prevent him from having to experience the bullying that he went through. It’s so to take on, especially since he has no control over the words and actions of others. I just hope our boys end up being okay 😭😭😭 protect the Heartstopper Squad at all costs!!

Ben saying that he said “sorry” to Charlie is a good example of how manipulative his character is, because the only time he apologized was in episode 3 when he cornered Charlie at the party and said “look I’m sorry about what happened. Have you finished sulking about it?” and then after Charlie rejected him, proceeded to be an asshole who laughed at him with his friends, and then lashed out after he saw him with Nick at the movie theater. Ben has done absolutely nothing to make amends, all he did in season 1 was try to diminish his own actions and make Charlie forgive him and take him back. Then when Charlie wouldn’t, he became even crueler. I don’t think Ben is irredeemably evil in the sense that he could potentially grow and get better if he were a real person - but in the context of the show it makes sense to be hostile to him and want him away from the main characters. He hasn’t done a single decent thing so far, while also doing some pretty terrible things. If he was just a generally nasty character who was rude I’d get peoples’ perspective of wanting to see him redeemed on the show, but he’s literally abused our main character so…? Nah.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Thank you for letting me know which episode he’d said sorry in. I completely agree with you! I’ve seen all of season 2 now so I know what happens, but again, I love how Charlie stood up for himself and I hope Ben is better to people in the future.

Something I just realized- both Nick and Imogen sleep like they're holding something/someone (not shipping them), both in different ways but still.
