Funny enough, Blessthefall was one of the bands I listened to while I was bullied back in highschool. The aggressive tracks like Hollow Bodies and You Wear a Crown really helped

Wow. Jared and I are pretty much the same. Jr high was my bad time and I was alone as well. Still kinda feel that way today. I probably would’ve committed suicide back then. But music and just having faith in myself got me through It.

I was into Disturbed and Nü-Metal. Heh. I agree with him. I have to forgive the ones who hurt me. Holding grudges will make me miserable. It’s time for me to let it go. Thank you HS for uploading this video. I hope you are having a great day. God bless. Stay strong. 😌

I was bullied everyday, I felt like a freak, that I could not belong anywhere. Somedays I even thought something is so wrong with me that I deserved that . I had all the stages he mentioned... anger and then I tried to pretend to be someone else, but it was unbearable. Till this day, I can see that this makes me more reserved as a person, but I'm trying to learn from it. As I'm trying to understand why these people treated me like that and I still sometimes hold all this anger against them, but deep inside I just hope they aren't bad and that they are not the same people anymore. But I can't imagine how I would cope with this if it wasn't for people like Jared and their music. Because they made me feel proud of who I am and I got the hope that there are people like me out there that share my feelings and whatever happens in the end of the day I'll listen to their songs and everything will be fine. And I knew so many people out there listen to them and feel the same fucking way and there is a place for me in this world , where people will like me for who I am. It's so moving listening to those people who meant so much to you back then to speak about these issues.

That kind of bullying drives some people to suicide though... forgiveness doesn't always save them, but I get his point.
