nice,i'm gonna order mine this week,for my 2014 dart Gt,with that i'm gonna add the injen cold air intake for the 2.4,and road race spectrum tuner with the lightweight pulleysame time,all that together should give me a little more power and better sound,thank you guys I think your exhaust sounds great,do you know what kind of hp i should expect?

This is my car the tips do stick out a little far... this is the 2.0L with no turbo, stock it comes with one exhaust tip, but there is room for duel exhaust. You are able to make the tips fit a little tighter to the frame by changing the tips.

in our opinion it has very minimal drone, we use 3 mufflers in the system. the car in the video was 100% stock except for the exhaust.

So on the 2.4 would you just leave those tips off and stuff the pipe into the factory tips?

yes, you would not use the tips that we include if you have the s/s tips in the factory valence. we also list how much of the tail pipe you need to cut off for this vehicle as well on the new tail pipes to fit up to the factory tips.

If i were to get this, could I still have my cherry bomb extreme on the end of it and still sound good/better, and would I lose any of the power gain by changing the end muffler?

Not easily no. I'd either leave what you have or opt for the kit. The other mufflers won't likely bolt in easily.

Current price is $464.25. www.mufflermonster.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_ID=2709. Due to EPA regulations regarding testing for mpg gains we do not test for mpg gains but we saw very good gains on the dyno.

the flowpacks use a specially formulated high temp exhaust fiberglass wrap, we haven't noticed any "break-in" sound difference. i've had flowpacks on a 2011 Mustang for 4 years now and have not seen a change in sound.

Do you have to get rid of the oxygen sensors?

No, this is a cat-back kit that starts at 2-bolt flange after the catalytic converter, the last oxygen sensor is just in front of this flange. All the original emissions equipment, catalytic converter, oxygen sensors, remain on the vehicle and our system starts after these devices.

@@heartthrobexhaust nice, one more thing,i was reading about how this would not work on the darts with a stock single exhaust pipe, that it has to be a dart with dual exhaust to begin with, that doesn't make sense to me but I have to ask, i have a 2016 dart se with the single exhaust, will this work?

@@jasonleee9401 we actually made this originally to fit the single exhaust models. The dual exhaust models came later, we updated the kit and included instructions on how to cut to fit the dual models. So, this is sold for both the single and dual models.

+Joshua Doubleday The kit is EPA emissions legal and won't void your warranty or set off check engine lights. Certain states have laws/rules that may make aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems not street legal, check with your inspection shop/station as to your states specific emissions rules/laws. But generally speaking, you should not have emissions issues with the exhaust kit, other than potential noise emissions rules/laws in your state.

more likely with your setup than just with our cat-back exhaust. we have only tested and fit the cat-back on stock vehicles. on stock vehicles, i would say limited for popping/crackling (but for down shifts). you will ratchet up the sound with the combined package you plan however.

So based on the dyno results, you lose almost 40hp on the 2.0L version of the Dart. With stock exhaust the 2.0L Dart makes 160hp at the flywheel. With this aftermarket "performance" exhaust your results show that it only made 127.182hp at the flywheel. I'm pretty sure that performance exhaust is supposed to increase your vehicles horsepower, not decrease it.

We dyno at the wheels. At peak, the factory system dynoed at 120 wheel HP. With the performance exhaust system at the same peak rpm it was 127.18. We saw gains up the whole pull.

if you have the factory dual with the molded in tips, our kit does allow you to reuse these factory tips. you won't use the tips we include in the kit, and you'll need to trim some tube at the rear, but it works on these models as well. check out the pictures at the bottom of the link, it shows fit on these models. www.heartthrobexhaust.com/2007260p.html
