Maldives is the only country in the world that is 100% Muslim, applying Islamic law in the administration of the country based on the Qur'an and Hadith. As a tourist destination, the rules in Maldives are quite strict, prohibiting the distribution of alcohol and wearing bikinis in public places. The only swimwear allowed is shorts and t-shirts. When Friday prayer time arrives, almost all activities stop, including public facilities and airports, in honor of worship.

@@NETKLIK02 jaa aga kui palju käiakse tegelikult islami maades ja neis kus on radikaalsne islam . Sinna ei taheta eriti minna,sest islam juba teeb selgeks mis seis on. Varem või hiljem peab islam vabamaks minema, kui tahetakse majandust üleval pidada. Just majandus o see mis teeb korrektuuri. Ma ei ole üheski islami maal käinud ja ei lähe ka,sest algusest lõpuni on paikka pandud mismoodi peab turist olema.
