Thank you for showing these soldiers at their best, and thank you for including the idiots that show disrespect and are duly paid in full by the beautiful mounts….especially the gorgeous Ormonde, that horse deserves a few extra carrots 😂😂😂. I’d love to now how you keep quiet when in front of some of these bloody idiots ( kept comment as clean as possible but you know what a veteran of nearly 30yrs is not writing 😂😂).

Once a soldier always a soldier and I can tell you that never changes as each year goes by as a veteran. The respect the mounted soldiers gave this man is the same as myself and fellow veterans have been blessed to encounter ourselves. It’s precious that the world got to see it for themselves. ​​@@Mounhasyes, I like the video of the 5,(maybe 6), year old boy, he's in full guard uniform... the guard, whom is quite well known,(might even be this one, looks like him; I'm drawing a blank though on a name), he nodded his head for the dad to bring the little guy over, he then lined the horse up with the camera... dad & son posed in front of the horse, of course, & got a photo of a lifetime! The guard then tips his head ever so slightly & resumes his usual position... it's the sweetest!

These little treats for the horses really make them happy and shows we love and care . I do this for my horses every day ,they look forward to it very much . Kindness to our lovely animals is priceless . ❤❤❤

To be fair unless it's your horse you shouldn't be feeding it unless you know the owner and they have said its OK, same with humans some horses have intolerances or are on special diets and giving them something they shouldn't have could be harmful.

So sad 😢, I'm sure he misses being a guard, old people miss their pass, I know because I'm not young anymore, and there are many things I miss badly. Sometimes, you just don't want to sit around and be retired and useless, which is how we feel as we get older.
