Heat Exchanger - Heat Exchanger Equipment - Part 1
In this material is explained about the types of heat exchanger equipment or heat exchanger equipment. Good seen from the working system, namely direct contact (direct heat exchange) and indirect contact (indirect heat exchange) heat exchanger.
While based on the direction of flow, there are types of co-current heat exchanger or parallel heat exchanger (one-way flow heat exchanger) and counter current heat exchanger (opposite-direction flow heat exchanger).
Types of heat exchanger equipment or heat exchangers that will be discussed here such as ejector, deaerator, economizer on the boiler, condenser (condenser), double pipe heat exchanger, shell and tube heat exchanger and frame and plate heat exchanger.

Plate and frame heat exchanger, pernah saya temuin dipasang di sistem gast,terpasang disistem pendingin chiller,posisinya setelah output comp(discharger) setelah itu kondensor, agak terheran heran tapi penasaran juga hehee

Terima kasih atas penjelasannya pak firman. Saya ingin bertanya kalau heat exchanger terjadi pressure tinggi di steam itu penyebabnya apa ya pak? Mohon pencerahannya

Iya sama-sama, Mungkin saja bisa saja terjadi krna suhu tinggi di steam, artinya perpindahan panas nya terganggu, atau bisa juga dg memperhatikan fouling factor (rd) nya, dg melihat rd nya tinggi, artinya semakin banyak hambatan yg mengganggu dalam proses transfer panas nya. Bisa jadi penyebab juga. Mudah-mudahan membantu. Semangat.

pak mau bertanya, jika ada asumsi penggunaan steam untuk shell and tube pada suhu input 130, dan suhu keluar juga 130, itu kenapa ya pak

suhu input dan output harusnya berbeda lah kalo memang terjadi pertukaran panas. steam dilewatkan dalam tube, akan mentransmisi panas ke cairan dalam shell atau sebaliknya. Jika dilihat dari steam maka akan terjadi penurunan suhu, dan sebaliknya jika dilihat dari cairan pendinginnya akan terjadi kenaikan suhu.

Jika suhu input outout sama, maka tidak ada pertukaran panas yg terjadi. Q cool = Q hot m.c.DT = m.c.DT Artinya baik di pendingin maupun di steam terjadi perubahan suhu.
